The lodges were very simple and perfect for the location. We were supremely well looked after by Adam and his team. The food was all local, fresh and beautifully cooked. Pemba Lodge really is one of a kind if you are looking for a simple, natural getaway. A truly amazing place!

All units at the accommodation include air conditioning and a desk. Very peaceful, beautiful surroundings and attentive staff. A lovely spot to watch the sunset with a happy hour cocktail in hand. The food was also excellent, with delicious fresh fish dishes. We also dived with Pemba dive centre who are on site and can very highly recommend them.

The hotel also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Lala Lodge was very welcoming and relaxed. The location on the water front provides excellent opportunities for watching the dhows, fishing boats and ferries. Dennis our host is an excellent cook - his fresh grilled fish is superb - and we enjoyed his stories and lots of good conversation. Dennis and Suleiman will organise anything for you - diving, tours, pick ups, hospital visits! A very easy and enjoyable place to spend a few days.

You can enjoy a sea and a garden view from all the rooms. We’ve been to the North and South of Pemba and Emerald Bay was our favourite place. The daily boat tours and excursions in this stunning place were fantastic. Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

The Aiyana Resort and Spa offers accommodation in Verani and features a restaurant. The resort has a year-round outdoor pool and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar.

Certain rooms have a seating area for your convenience. Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. Extras include bath robes and slippers. The most beautiful hotel I've ever seen.The room is auperb, the staff, the food!!!!
