We liked the location, a nice compromise with the French Quarter a 10 minute walk one way and the art galeries, city museums and fine dining the other. This is a recently “created” property in a historic building. Beautiful classic lobby, with new rooms.

WG Creole House 1850 is located in the Central City district of New Orleans, less than 1 km from Union Station, a 15-minute walk from Morial Convention Center and 1.7 km from Mercedes-Benz Superdome. This 3-star guest house offers water sports facilities, luggage storage space and free WiFi. Audubon Nature Institute is 6.9 km away and Rivertown is 19 km from the guest house. I didn't have breakfast as I don't think breakfast was included. I did make myself a couple cups of tea in the kitchen/dining area. I think you could have used some of your own food in that facility. This is a wonderful place to stay. Most highly recommended. I would definitely try to book it if I were to visit New Orleans again. It is walkable from the train station although Google Maps does not provide the best route for getting there.
