This guesthouse is located within the Wellness Hotel Spa area, giving guests access to all the hotel’s facilities. The hotel has a wonderful spa with a pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna and comfortable sun loungers outside. Every little detail has been thoughtfully arranged to ensure guests feel comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was excellent – a combination of a buffet and freshly prepared dishes, with plenty of healthy options available. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to and from the cable car station, so you don’t have to carry your luggage. The staff is very friendly, positive, and helpful. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

Perfect place where to stay if you’re planning on doing the hikes around. The hotel has a large wellness space with all kind of saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. Perfect to relax! The food is really good as well, very nice staff, with a special note for the restaurant-bar manager, that was just exceptional, looking into the little details to make sure everything is perfect and always having a nice word for everyone, I’ve rarely seen someone as dedicated and professional 👌. Rooms are large and confortable, the only thing I may say is that in my opinion they are a little too basic, missing some charme/character/decoration. But overall, great place to stay, the lobby lounge with fireplace is very cost to have a drink or read after a long day. I will definitely come back!

First of all, the view is amazing, breathtaking. There is everything you need in the apartment, it is very cosy and well equipped. Erna is very nice and easygoing, it is easy to get in touch with her in case you have any questions. Also there is a pool with perfect view, good thing for summer time. All in all, Switzerland is one love!

The views the hotel offers are magnificent. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choice (hot options available as well). The dining area is beautiful, offering splendid views of the mountains around. There is a large terrace outside, which is a great relax on on a nice day. While a bit dated, the room we got was clean and comfortable. Free parking and SPA facilities are highly appreciated. We'll definitely come again if we're back in the area.

The absolute highlight, however, was the location and the unforgettable view of the lake and the surrounding hills! Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests. Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation. It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views. Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-) Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.
