Room was very spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good and lots to choose from as part of an easy self service. The location was ideal for us, a bit busy travelling to the hotel but we were travelling at rush hour! Once there, it was peaceful and had everything we needed for a restful night in between a long journey.

Philip is a excellent host. We booked dinner and it was superb! The garden was secure for our dog. The swimming pool is a bonus for any guests.

What a beautiful setting. Lovely room, though a bath is not best for 75 year olds! I am aware we could have asked for that on booking. Great meal in the evening. Lovely breakfast to set us up for our long journey to the Lot. Really nice to be able to let our dog run through the grounds too. Altogether a great stopover and I am sure we’ll be back sometime!😁 Thank you!

The grounds are beautiful and so well looked after. We loved sitting in the garden. The pool was also great and Laurent made an effort to warm it for us although it was the beginning of May. Breakfast was great and Laurent was a wonderful host, with many helpful tips on places to visit.

Set in Tigy, in a historic building, 16 km from Chateau de Sully-sur-Loire, La Couarderie is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and barbecue facilities.

We loved the beauty and comfort, the quiet and loving care of the property, but mostly the kindness and spirit of sharing of the owners. The breakfast, with local products and served to us on the terrace, gave the day a great start. This is hospitality at its very best!
