The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and very well cared for. The reception staff were very friendly and polite and our room was as expected. The reception area had comfortable seating and allowed for drinks to be served from the bar. The breakfast was excellent with nothing missing except a selection of alternate teas (fruit) to avoid having to request this from staff.

We didn’t have time for breakfast as we were out early as we had a funeral to go to! The room was excellent warm,clean and lovely comfy beds,and dog friendly is a bonus!

The Palm Restaurant is not only a beautiful setting but the Sunday carvery is the best I have had. The spa is luxurious and the treatments were excellent (I highly recommend Lillie).

Great location within the city walls and close to the main shopping areas. Nice breakfast. Very good gym and nice pool. Staff were friendly.

Really impressed with this hotel. Perfect size .. not overly large, so attention is personal. Breakfast was very tasty. Spa is fantastic … lovely pool, steam room, sauna & whirlpool, and great massages available. Staff were all super-helpful and cheerful. Setting is lovely put in the countryside but close enough to Chester for sightseeing and restaurants. Bathroom was huge. Just a lovely cozy and well-run hotel in a quiet green area. Already booked again!
