Our experience at Sunsets and Palm Trees was nothing short of incredible. The accommodations are absolutely stunning, nestled right by the serene Backwaters, offering breathtaking views that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. However, what made our stay truly exceptional was the unparalleled hospitality of our host, David. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly friendly, always available, and did everything possible to ensure we had the best experience. Even when we needed a last-minute additional booking, he made it happen effortlessly. The food was delicious, and every meal was prepared with so much care and attention to detail. The warmth and generosity we experienced at Sunsets and Palm Trees made us feel completely at home. This is not just a place we will return to again and again – we truly feel like we have found a place that feels like home and a connection that will stay with us. Thank you, David, for everything! Booking the Ameya Resort was one of the best decisions that we made during our trip to Kerala! This place is a paradise on earth. From the facilities to the staff - everything was pure perfection. **Advise to all of the travellers; if you want to have a boat trip on the black waters of Kerala, I would recommend to do it from this location instead of Alappuzha (Ameya resort can arrange that for you). We took boat trips in both locations, and it was much less crowded and the views were more spectacular from this side of the Vembanad lake.

We loved the location, there was some really good food around! The garden was also beautiful and the flowers smelled amazing. We also did a canoe backwaters tour and this was the highlight of our trip - highly recommend doing this!! We did the local ferry as well but enjoyed the canoe tour more.

It was a wonderful and unique experience at Shantitheeram Resort. We stayed 5 days with my friend and in the end we really felt like home. The people there were amazing, really kind and helpful! And the place itself was magical. It has a pool where you can swim, and hammocks where you can leave your problems behind with a good book. The food was incredible too, we booked for lunch and dinner too and I never had these variety of healthy food which tasted so good! Im so glad we came here and stayed, thank you for the amazing massages, the uplifting yoga classes, the creative projects and just the feeling that you made us feel really home. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

One of the best stays I have ever had, very clean property in a secluded place, peaceful environment. Helping and friendly staff, the welcome drink tea and snacks were all home made and hygienic. Sunny George and Jibin sahu were very friendly and made us feel at home. We were constantly checked upon for any help and guidance, We weren't even charged extra for extending the checkout, the swimming pool was maintained well, and the beach is just a few steps away from thumpoly beach. Very happy and satisfied with the stay.
