We had a great stay. The farm is beautiful, rooms enormous, and we loved meeting the dog (Brina), several cats, and various chickens. Seruga has really friendly, hard-working multilingual staff who seem to be all, or mostly, family members, and they remembered lots of details about guests dietary preferences and needs when it came to preparing meals. Eva also drove us to the bus stop at the end to save us walking in the heat (though it isn't very far). We really did feel as if we were staying with friends rather than at a hotel! We enjoyed the hikes locally to Trska Gora, Novo Mesto and Otocec, and also took buses to Brezice and Kostanjevica (proving that a trip to Seruga is completely possible without a car). We had two wonderful dinners in the farm, and walked on the the other evenings to local restaurants - a big advantage of Seruga is that unlike many farms it isn't isolated if you don't have a car, and there are other facilities nearby.

One of the best hotel experiences in my life. Truly exceeded my expectations - spacious room, very kind and helpful stuff, beautiful surroundings, and delicious food were just amazing. Very peaceful spot, in quiet and pretty but not very touristy part of Slovenia. Close to very good restaurants (two listed in the Michelin Guide within walking distance). The pool was great. The hut is beautifully constructed and well thought out. Friendly helpful hostess who spoke very good English.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with super comfortable beds and a very good shower, making for a restful and relaxing experience. The pool area was lovely, and the entire place was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a getaway. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers walkable trails, which we really enjoyed. The internet connection was reliable, and the meals were generally good - supper had a nice variety of dishes, while breakfast was more basic but still satisfying.
