Our stay at Palm Gardens was fantastic, from the moment the owner - Thongbai - picked us up from the Bus Stop to the moment she waved us off with the packed lunches she had made for us. The Villas are simple and beautiful, each looking out onto the inviting pool. They are 100m from a fantastic white strand beach stretching for miles in either direction with hardly on soul around. Nearby are a number of beach bars and restaurants - the I-Talay wines out for me, but all are welcoming and cheap. And you can even get your laundry done nearby. We went for the breakfast option which Thongbai made for us each day. She bakes her own bread - you have to try it. Overall a great experience for an unbeatable price

We had the most fantastic stay at Apple bungalows with great accommodation and the most lovely, kind host. The bungalows are spacious and very comfortable with a separate lounge boasting a large sofa and table - to be honest the photographs do not do it justice! There is a large outdoor, shaded deck with table and chairs that make a lovely spot to sit surrounded by beautiful gardens. The pool is large and the perfect temperature. The whole resort is spotlessly clean and very spacious. This place is perfect but we always say that people make places and that could not be more true in this case! Apple is such a great host that goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptionally memorable. I had a minor accident at the beach and Apple’s family even accompanied me to the hospital for a check up to make sure I was ok. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, absolutely superb! We extended our stay and will be returning.

Immaculate the staff were lovely and helpful, we didn’t get chance to eat at the restaurant so we can’t comment on those facilities. Our room was cleaned every day and it was fantastic, I would say the only draw back if you struggle to walk the hill that leads up to the rooms from the beach is a bit steep, pool was great. Definitely would recommend a stay here for relaxation.

Sailom Resort is located in Bangsaphan’s Noi District, a short distance from the Burmese border. The resort offers views of Thalu Island, an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

It is very close to the beach. There are very good seafood restaurants available by foot. Also close by is a seven eleven with ATM and laundry machines. All staff is very kind and some staff have excellent English. The facility is well kept.
