The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff is very friendly (let us leave out luggage at the front after we checked out for the rest of the day) and well designed. There were some interesting art choices that made for some nice laughs between my husband and I… Loved the cafe at the entrance. We didn’t eat there but we met my mom there for coffee a couple of times and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Would definitely come back next time we are in Graz!

Perfect rooms, amazing food, clean spa area with entertaining sauna ceremonies, lovely and overly attentive employees of the hotel… we didn’t feel like leaving.

The Heilthermen Resort Bad Waltersdorf is located in the Thermen- & Vulkanland in the East Styrian hill country, Eastern Styria’s hill country, 60 km from Graz. The property gave us a free room upgrade to a suite, which was amazing; beautiful modern room with a huge deck. the hotel-only spa area was amazing and very peaceful.

The staff was amazing and helped us find a good restaurant on Sunday night. The facilities are authentic and truely unique. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, with plenty of gluten-free and lactose- free options. Fantastic experience.

Built by the famous Austrian architect Günther Domenig, this design hotel is only 1 km away from the centre of Graz. Perfect stay. Clean and tidy room facilities. Professional and attentive staff. Located near tram stop with free travel to the city centre. The pool and spa was excellent too (open 24h, which is amazing), extra towels provided. I arrived by train and did not partake in breakfast, so I cannot comment on those.
