The room was exceptionally comfortable. The water dispensing machines in the hallway were a great added value.

Personalized service was unbelievable but at the same time there was the ability to be invisible if one preferred. Kitchen great. Ideal for a couple, but I stayed with a friend and the bed was very spacious. Very nice and communicative host.

The guided treks and walks were interesting and we saw so many amazing animals, birds and landscapes. The riding excursion on the ranch with a gaucho was a highlight. Each and every member of staff were friendly and helpful. An unforgettable stay.

Located in Punta Arenas, one of the most southernly points in Chile, Hotel Diego de Almagro offers accommodations on the coast of the Magellan Strait. Receptionist staff clear and friendly, both in explaining the hotel & room and allowing us to store our rucksacks for a few hours after check-out time to allow us to see the town before catching the ferry. The sea-facing room was clean, nice and bright. The views of the Straits of Magellan were excellent.
