HOTEL POSADA DEL MAR ligt in Providencia, op 3 minuten lopen van Fresh Water Bay, en biedt een tuin, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. I was pleasantly surprised by this last-minute choice. The staff were incredibly welcoming, spoke English, and went above and beyond — from arranging taxis to helping me book a wonderful last-minute island tour. The room had a lovely view, and the location is close to restaurants and main spots on the island, making everything very easy.

We loved everything about this place. The little huts are located in a beautiful tropical garden. There’s a cute little outdoor pool. The owners Doris and César are lovely and welcoming hosts. César helped us book excursions and rent a scooter etc. We absolutely recommend this place.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie was fantastisch. Het ruime appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat er altijd tuc tucs of scooters klaarstonden om me ergens heen te brengen op het eiland.

Monasterio del Viento is een accommodatie met 5 sterren tegenover het strand in Bahia Maracaibo met heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een privéstrand. We had a fantastic time at Monasterio del Viento! It exceeded our expectations, especially since this was our first time visiting Providencia, and we weren’t sure how the island had recovered from the 2020 hurricane. The hotel is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat. Alvaro, Melie, and the two ladies who cooked were all amazing—so welcoming and attentive. We still think about the delicious ceviche we had for lunch! We deeply appreciate all the effort put into making Monasterio del Viento such a luxurious and well-run option on Providencia—it truly shows. Herbert was incredibly easy to communicate with and arranged everything we needed seamlessly. The level of service was truly five-star, and we’ve already told many friends that if they ever visit Providencia, Monasterio del Viento is the only place to consider!

Hotel El Pirata Morgan ligt op het eiland Providencia, in de wijk Agua Dulce, en beschikt over een buitenzwembad en een Amerikaans ontbijt. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. I liked everything, the room, the breakfast, the staff. The location is special because the hotel has a supermarket across the street, has 2 dive centers very close and good restaurants too.

Het strand Agua Dulce ligt op 500 meter afstand.... The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉
