Friendly staff, highly recommended.

Hospes Palacio de Arenales dates back to the 17th century and was formally the holiday residence of a noble family. This 5-star hotel offers a wellness centre and spa. Although I wasn’t travelling with my dogs I was delighted to find out this is a dog friendly hotel, it even had a dog friendly restaurant inside the hotel. The staff there very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. There is nothing I could fault.

Located in a quiet and pretty residential area of Cáceres, this elegant hotel offers free Wi-Fi and chic rooms. The outdoor pool is set within gardens. Very comfortable rooms and friendly staff! The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool was great during the hot summer days. The breakfast buffet was the best we‘ve had in Spain so far, with a big variety of choices. We‘ll definitely stay again when we‘re in the area.

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. As with many paradors, it is in an incredible historical building. Our room was lovely and quiet and we enjoyed having drinks in the small bar and had a superb lunch in the restaurant. Very good off-season rate as well.

This accommodation is situated in a majestic building, an old convent dating from the 17th century, in Valle del Ambroz in the north of the province of Cáceres. Second visit. Room had been upgraded and we liked the changes. Very comfortable room and dog friendly. Evening meal was set menu and great value for money. Breakfast was good. Staff all very welcoming and friendly. Location is fantastic. Will definitely return in future.

The place was super, a bit outside of the historical center, but close enough to walk. The facilities were excellent. We wish we had booked longer.

Το Apartamentos Rurales la Campiña είναι σε Casiñas Bajas και απέχει 14 χλμ από Roman City of Ammaia και 17 χλμ από Κάστρο Marvao. The apartment we stayed in was awesome. It is big, with two floors, a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a downstairs and upstairs bathroom and a very comfy double bed. The highlight of our stay was a spa bath which worked perfectly, with plenty of hot water thanks to a huge boiler. Everything was clean and worked well. The apartment looks modern and cosy. The aircon worked really well and was quiet. Overall, the flat was gorgeous and we would stay again. The outside area is also nice, with lots of barbecues and seating area. The private car park is big. It is also a very quiet area with nice countryside. Apart from an occasional car passing by, you can only hear the lovely sounds of the countryside: donkeys, chickens, sheep... Plus we were staying off-season and we alone 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed so it was extra quiet. It was a relaxing stay.

It was close walking distance to everything. Enjoyed sitting in the plaza each evening taking in the ambiance of the location.
