SCHLOSS Roxburghe, part of Destination by Hyatt is gelegen in Kelso, op 41 km van The Maltings Theatre & Cinema, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een fitnesscentrum... This was our biggest surprise of the trip and our favorite. The rooms were large, beds comfortable, best warm shower, amazing views from our room, gorgeous location and the staff were all great people. The largest breakfast selection, everything was fresh and good, and the restaurant staff was very helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights during our vacation in Scotland. Very nice place with beautiful sites in the small city, not far from the mobile home, there is a super market where you can buy all your daily needs. Additionally there are Wifi connection and 3 (!) TV's as well. The beds were cozy and we slept very good in it. Our kids enjyed the stay as well and had a lot of fun with the board games! Lesley was very helpful and we could easily contact her via WhatsApp. So all the questions could be solved within minutes. So our review in sum, 10/10!

I can not say enough good things about our stay here. I originally had a booking at The Roxburgh in Berwick Upon Tweed. Two days before our trip, the management emailed me and told me the rates had changed. My cost would now be triple what I had booked at 8 months prior. I wasn't going to be taken advantage of seeing the current price when I looked on Expedia, was the rate I had booked at. So I went on Booking and found this property. I'm so glad things played out the way they did. Reece, the owner of the caravan, is an incredible man. He was more than happy to have us even at such short notice. His caravan is beautiful and extremely clean. It looked like we were walking into a brand new property. The caravan has views of the North Sea and is on a beautifullot in a gated park. There's a deck attached with a table and chairs. It's a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a nice cup of tea or glass of wine. The home is equipped with everything you need if you want to be budget friendly and cook your own meals. There's even an air fryer. The TV has several channels to choose from. I didn't check them all out. We didn't watch that much TV with such beautiful scenery around us. We did watch some Netflix, though. There's a washing machine in the kitchen, plus the property itself has laundry facilities. You did need coins for the machines in the laundry room. If you're traveling with kids, there's a play area on the property. The village itself is stunning. There's a beautiful beach, several restaurants, and one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. Most restaurants and pubs stop serving food at 8 pm. There's one place open until 10 or 11. They have pizza, kabobs, and fish and chips. Again, you have a perfect stocked kitchen, so you can always cook something if you miss dining hours in the restaurants. I cannot wait to return to Scotland so I can stay here again.

Everything about Fairnington East Wing was amazing and above expectations. Warm, comfortable clean and every need was catered for. Hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Views were incredible. Can't recommend highly enough. Will certainly be back.

Peebles Hydro offers a beautiful setting in gardens, in the border town of Peebles. This charming, historic hotel features an indoor swimming pool, a spa, a gym and restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic. The pool and sports center wonderful. The activities are exceptional as are the local walks.

Set in 25 acres of mature grounds, the Barony Castle Hotel is an impressive castle has a stylish award winning restaurant and modern leisure centre. Wat een voltreffer! We zochten een slaapplaats maar kregen een castlehotel, full facility met het beste ontbijt ever. Ralph zit vol humor en snapt wat zijn gasten willen! Lieve mensen, mooie plaats. The borders, a great place to visit.
