We arrived in Pizzo on the last (or second-to-last) day of our trip through Calabria, so unfortunately we only stayed for one night. I say unfortunately because, first of all, Pizzo is a truly charming town and worth staying longer, and secondly because the hotel was genuinely excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight home wasn’t until late in the evening, but we were allowed to stay by the pool and in the garden the entire day without any issues. They also arranged transportation to the airport and even let us check out a bit later than usual—all of this despite only staying one night. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced. They serve drinks and food throughout the day in their lovely garden. The location is close enough to both the town center and the beach. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here.

Een zalig zwembad met veel plaats om ernaast wat te rusten in de schaduw of wat te zonnen. Lekkere drankjes en hapjes aan de bar, schoon appartement met een heerlijk zicht op Tropea en de zee. Uitmuntende organisatie door een super verwelkomende familie. Als we zin hadden om naar Tropea te gaan, werden we gebracht en gehaald met de shuttle van het hotel, op een uur dat we overeenkwamen. De familie die het hotel runt, doet er alles aan om je een onvergetelijke vakantie te bezorgen, in een ongedwongen en professionele sfeer.

This is our second time and will not be our last. There are always new improvements to the property. The breakfast selection will meet everyone’s needs.

Residenza De Vita bevindt zich in Tropea, op 15 minuten lopen van Lido Alex en 3 km van Heiligdom van Santa Maria dell'Isola, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en... Kamers zeer schoon, alles wat je nodig bent was aanwezig. Ontzettende lieve gastheer en familie, het ontbijt werd bij je gebracht en kon je opeten waar je wilde, wij gingen heerlijk in de mooie tuin zitten. Het strand in Tropea was adembenemend mooi, wel heel druk, dus wij reden met onze huurauto naar Zambrone. Daar was t rustiger en kon je gratis parkeren. Picanha 2.0 een geweldig heerlijk restaurant als je van kwaliteit vlees houdt en een super lieve bediening was op loopafstand van de B&B . Echt een aanrader!

Relais Ruggiero bevindt zich in Le Castella en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, gratis WiFi, een tuin en een privéstrand. Privéparkeren op het terrein. Our stay at Relais was incredible. Rita and Franco were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond. We are both gluten free and they ensured there was tons of options for breakfast. The room was beautiful, comfy and extremely clean. The people are so warm and friendly and the property surrounding it is beautiful. We also don’t speak Italian and so they were so helpful and patient with us whilst we googled translated everything! I couldn’t recommend this place more and would come back in a heartbeat.

In rustige wijk gelegen. Genoten van het dakterras met prachtig uitzicht en zonsondergang. Modern en zeer schoon appartement. Iedere dag wordt het zwemband schoongemaakt. Ook de tuin ziet er goed onderhouden uit. In de omgeving zijn verschillende restaurantjes maar ook Tropea is ongeveer 15 min rijden. Handig dat er ook wasmachines zijn. Wij hebben genoten van dit mooie appartement en omgeving.

You will not be disappointed. Overall, this is a wonderful establishment. The couple who designed it had a fantastic idea and are creating a little paradise away from the hustle and bustle of Tropea. If you wish to experience peace and tranquility, overlooking the sea and watching sunsets with Stromboli on the horizon, this is your place! There is a little pool, a beer garden and lounges to sunbathe, if beaches are not your thing. -The location! Lovely view to the sea -The breakfast was unusual and surprisingly good - the owner makes the most amazing bruschetta with local/home grown products, as well as chia pudding, fruit salads and egg fritters from own chickens - yum! -The coffee is delicious! -The property is very well taken care of - clean and manicured -The room is designed beautifully - is functional and tasteful -Parking spaces available (4-5 inside of the gate) -The outdoor kitchen for exclusive use in one of the rooms -The owner was so kind to wash a load of clothes, hang it out and fold for us - thank you! -WiFi signal in the room and in the kitchen area is great, not sure about the surrounding grounds/beer garden area

Sensational breakfast ... one of the best I have had and the most impromptu ! The pommegranite tree was full of fruit and although there was a beautiful bowl of fruit full of plums, tangello's oranges etc the amazing hostess opened the window near us and went and picked a pommegranite for us as well .... and a beautiful bunch of grapes off the vine ! She also toasted almonds which were delicious and the croissants filled with choolate and others with cream were mouth watering ... we didn't want to leave !
