Evertything was even better than expected - and we had high expectations for this one. Very nice location with the greatest Izakaya's around. If you get a chance, get yourself a massage, best experience ever.

The best view of the Itsukushima shrine and it's oceanfront Torii gate, as well the whole of Miyajima island and mountain landscape, right infront of yours room balcony! The available private onsen has the same wonderful view plus the enjoynment of soaking in the hot mineral water! The breakfast is buffet type with extensive range of choices. While dinner time is the japanese course menu. Unfortunately for both the cuisine stays the same, while for breakfast it is undestandable, but for dinner they only changed the appetizer, the other dishes stayed exactly the same, so it could be bland taste if overstaying more than 1-2 nights.

Kyukamura Ohkunoshima is gelegen in Takehara, op 8 minuten lopen van Eiland Okunoshima en minder dan 1 km van Okunoshima Island. Deze ryokan met 4 sterren biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin en een... My family loved this place, as it was the only hotel in the island. I think because of this, the novelty was mostly because of the rabbits, but the accommodations were amazing, especially the onsen and we appreciated the nice touch to experience Japanese culture.

Hotel Ofutei ligt in Fukuyama, op 4 minuten lopen van Tomonotsu Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely incredible. Even though we are vegetarian, they were able to accomodate us with what was probably the best meal of our trip. The view out the window was also amazing. This is one of the best hotels I've ever visited!

LiVEMAX RESORT Aki Miyajima is voorzien van kamers in Miyajima, dicht bij The great Torii en Momijidani Park. Hotel is wat hoger gelegen tegen berg aan, in een rustige buurt. De warme baden waren in een andere locatie in het hotel waren perfect. We hadden een kamer met traditionele bedden (slapen op futons) en daar moet je wel tegen kunnen 😉. Het totaal van het totaal, behalve de lobby, oogt wat versleten. De wifi was matig, behalve in de lobby.
