Amália Boutique Suites & Studios - by @ rita´s place is ideaal gelegen in het centrum van Faro, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, een tuin, gratis WiFi en een terras. I booked a suite for my daughter’s birthday and although getting in to Faro was not great due to the storm (we were diverted to Seville and had to get a coach to Faro), once we got to the suite at 2@m in the morning, we were so happy as the room is so beautiful. The decor of the entire building was gorgeous. The facilities on hand were very helpful. There is an instruction guide provided in the room as well as instructions for the sofa bed. Because of the diversion, we missed the check in deadline but once I contacted the host, we were assured we could still have access to the property using the information provided earlier. What can I say about Catalina! She is an absolute gem! Sent me messages, checking on my whereabouts during the whole diversion saga. She is so warm and lovely and seems to really want guests to feel at home. She was truly a lovely person. I am most definitely coming back to the suites so we can enjoy the outdoor setting. Everything is very well thought out. Fantastic stay, would give 11/10!

Ria Formosa Guest House bevindt zich in Faro, op 11 km van São Lourenço de Matos, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Whoaaa... Nagelnieuw complex met héél veel smaak gebouwd en ingericht. Zeer attent personeel. Het hotel ligt letterlijk op wandelafstand van de luchthaven van Faro, maar het is hier ongelooflijk rustig en rustgevend. De ideale plek om je vakantie te eindigen en ontstresst terug naar huis te vliegen. Met stip genoteerd in onze lijst van "to remember".

Hotel Rural Brícia Du Mar bevindt zich in Ferragudo, op 15 minuten lopen van Praia Grande, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een restaurant. Cute room, delicious breakfast, nice pool, amazing gym and friendly receptionists!

Casa Amarela Guesthouse is goed gelegen in het centrum van Albufeira, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, een buitenzwembad, gratis WiFi en een gedeelde lounge. We absolutely loved our hosts - Fabiana and her husband! They were quick to respond to all my messages pre-arrival, and were always ready to help. When we arrived, Fabiana immediately pulled up the map on her iPad to give us an idea of the area, since we had never been to Albufeira. She was quick to give us extra towels and whatever else we needed, and also provides sunscreen, pool noodles, etc. The shared kitchen was always open, and has a wonderful (free) coffee machine with just about any type of coffee or hot chocolate you might want. She also provides a shelf for each room, if you want to store any snacks, and a shelf in the fridge. The outdoor space is great - complete with comfy bean bag chairs and shade. Fabiana was sweet enough to give us a bottle of wine on our arrival! She even let us do laundry, free of charge, in their machine. There's a drying rack outside if you just need to rinse off some items and hang them to dry. The location is uphill from town, but it was probably only about a 10 minute walk. We did take a Bolt, for a few dollars, to our boat trip leaving from the Marina - since that would have been about a 20-25 minute walk. We were so impressed by the warmth and kindness of our hosts, and would certainly stay there again if we ever come back to Albufeira - but would simply book a larger room!

Het Lagos Atlantic Hotel ligt in Lagos, op 500 meter van het strand van Porto de Mos en 1,9 km van het strand Dona Ana. Het beschikt over een buitenbad, een tuin en een bar. Personeel buitengewoon behulpzaam, beleefd en vriendelijk. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid en uitstekend. Door zeer slechte weersomstandigheden was het niet mogelijk van het zwembad gebruik te maken.

NAU Salema Beach Village biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi in Salema, in het natuurpark Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina. Lagos ligt op 15 km afstand. Ruim huis met grote kamers en badkamers, zeer proper, vlotte check-in

Quinta das Andorinhas biedt accommodatie in Carvoeiro, op 1,7 km van het strand van Carvoeiro, en beschikt over gratis WiFi, een buitenbad en een zwembad dat het hele jaar door geopend is. If I can give 11 points out of 10 I will. From the moment you enter the building you feel every details the owner put to make your stay lovely. There’s kitchen , fridge, they offer towel rental which is great for light traveler like us. You will find hangers shelf outside each room which is definitely helpful for a beach city . The breakfast is great. Fresh healthy and a great variety of choices. The staff are super friendly and answers to our need or questions in a very responsive manner. If I come again to this city I will not hesitate to stay here again!

Monte da Ribeira is gelegen op 21 km van São Lourenço de Matos en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. The room was very comfortable, super clean. We love the balcony with the beautiful views. Great breakfast!
