There was a misunderstanding regarding our room type upon check-in but the staff handled it well and sorted it out for us. Our (final) room was spacious with a view of the pool as stated in our booking. They also helped my husband organize a surprise birthday morning greeting with flowers and also a nice family dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The Hotel has a restaurant, bar, library, games room, outdoor swimming pool with bar (seasonal), gym, padel court, kids club, playground, small farm with animals, pine forest for outdoor activities, and organic vegetable garden . Room and its surrounding areas. Service staff are nice and supportive, we can call for laundry very late at night time and get it done by tomorow morning.

The property features garden views and is 47 km from Our Lady of Fatima Basilica and 47 km from Chapel of the Apparitions. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. I have walked many Camino’s totaling more than 100 nights of private accommodations, this stay was one of the very best. The warmth and hospitality were tremendous, the homemade food better than most anything I’ve had in Portugal, the accommodations, clean, and private and well appointed. I cannot recommend highly enough!

The accommodation provides an ATM, and luggage storage for guests. I needed a place to stay at not far from Ansião, and I was surprised to find the modern hotel in that area. Comfortable, perfectly clean, easy to find, next to the road but quiet, with welcoming and helpful staff — I’ve got all I needed for those two days. The young man at the reception was exceptionally courteous and spoke English fluently. The hotel has a free private parking for about 10-12 cars.

Everything we could have needed was provided with amenities very close by. A couple of messages during our stay from the host just to check in and see if we needed anything. We would thoroughly recommend this villa.
