I have to say that this is one of the best (if not the best) hotels/areas where you can live in Togo. The location is TOP! It is an area close to most embasies, UN organizations, the university, the President palace etc. The infrastructure in the surroundings is perfect. We booked for “the gardin” aka “le jardin” in French. This appartment is just what we needed. It is extremely spacious and clean! There is a small kitchen that was perfect to make food for our 1 year baby. The staff is so friendly and really helpfull! I normally do not eat before 10-11am but I had to brake that rule at le Patio. The breakfast is so healthy ! They offer homemade fresh juices, a variety of local fruits, homemade delicious pasteries made with local ingredients etc. I was addicted to their crossant made with fonio, huh?! So was my 1 year daughter too! My husband (danish) says that their spanish omelette is the best he has ever tried (he lived in spain for 15 years! And he visited over 20 countries worldwide.. If you are there over a weekend, you will also taste the local food as part of their breakfast buffet - this was the best ever for me! I am togolese :-) We visited their SPA(included in the price) and we tried the sauna and jacuzzi(kids just loved it) ! On fridays, there is live music and you can just relax around the pool and enjoy it! The owner is so down to earth! Always close to the guests… she gave us a goodie bag with authentic togolese shear and cocoa butter when we checked out 🫶🏾 bless her! If you want a luxury place of high standards, that feels like home (not just tall buildings) and where they do not compromise on food quality, this is the place to be. It is ideal for both business and vacation purposes. I am not familiar to the owner, i am not her friend, i am just a very happy and satisfied customer! Hôtel Sancta Maria is een accommodatie met 4 sterren tegenover het strand in Lomé met heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een terras. Exceeded expectation! I stayed here for two nights during a work trip and was delighted by the helpful, polite, and efficient staff, wonderful room with an ocean view, good location and delicious breakfast. Happy surprises were that my room was upgraded for free to an ocean view and the bed was one of the most comfortable in which I have slept -- really exceptional! Breakfast was included with the price of the room and featured delicious fresh tropical fruit and good coffee with hot milk, which felt like a luxury! There is also a kettle in the room with tea and coffee, as well as free toiletries including toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and other items that were all a welcome sight to tired eyes after a long flight! The hotel is in walking distance (20 minutes) to the cathedral, a beautiful neo-Gothic building designed and built by Germans over a century ago and recently restored -- the loveliest building in Togo! The hotel location is also convenient to restaurants on the beach, city transportation, and several Champion supermarkets. I will gladly stay here again and thank the staff for a wonderful stay!
