Very nice place. Family run, fairly new hotel. Access to your own beach. There is less than a kilometer to Pogradec beach front. Pick a room with a view over the lake if you can. It is absolutely beautiful.

Fantastic facilities, so comfortable and cosy. During the cold weather, under floor heating in the shower room was a real treat. Excellent shower. Bed very comfortable with lovely linen. Towels great also with a heated radiator to keep them dry. Breakfast choices varied & high quality.

This was honestly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in our life! The hotel is very beautiful and elegant, and our room was spot on: classy, very clean and spacious, beautifully decorated. Also, the owner and the staff were very kind, and welcoming, helping us with everything we needed. And the breakfast: wow, that was just amazing! We still remember and talk about this breakfast and even tried to recreate some of the dishes, it was that good! It's not a buffet like in other hotels; at Vila Borgjeze, you receive a menu and choose the dishes you want and the selection is very local: you can get for instance Petka, a local pasta dish, or traditional Albanian pancakes, or eggs with sausage and veggies, and more! So in short, we definitely recommend this hotel!!

The hotel is perfectly located right on the riverbank—an excellent setting with beautiful views. The staff were exceptionally helpful and even accommodated an early check-in (though I’m not sure I was supposed to mention that!). Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we were lucky to have a lake-facing room with a balcony overlooking the restaurant, giving us front-row seats to the evening festivities. There was ample parking available, a good breakfast each morning, and consistently friendly, attentive service throughout our stay.

Korce is a very nice town and it exceeded my expectations...

Korce is a very nice town and it exceeded my expectations for an Albanian city of the South. It has nice buildings, rocky streets, bug parks, but I do not think it is so special for tourists. It depends of the taste of course, and by this I mean that Korce has casino, might have some bars etc, so if you like those stuff definitely go for it. For us this is not a case, so even though we enjoyed our time we could have skip it. We did find a veeeery very nice place with live music though. I chose Korca, because Albanians say it is the best place for Christmas, but that part was dissapointed. Berrat is way more festy and nicely decorated than Korce.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay in Pogradec, and the city beach was the unexpected highlight. I wasn't prepared for the crystal-clear waters and the wonderfully clean, uncrowded sand. It's a truly serene spot for a swim. My favorite part, however, was the beautifully shaded, walkable area right alongside the beach. The trees provide a perfect escape from the sun, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds—relaxing by the water and then moving into the cool shade of the trees when it gets too hot. The entire promenade is lined with a fantastic variety of bars and restaurants, so it's easy to find something to suit every taste and budget. Pogradec is a charming and relaxing destination that exceeded all my expectations, largely thanks to its incredible city beach and lakeside promenade.

Leskovik is a place where you must relax.

Leskovik is a place where you must relax. The pace of this very very small town is so gentle, peaceful, and quiet. Leskovik is a walkers paradise. There are old bunkers hidden in the rear area of the town, and the extremely small local bars are absolutely charming. The locals are very relaxed, in no hurry, and very friendly people.

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night.

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night. Fantastic lake and mountain views. Like stepping back in time. It's a way to visit the real Albania, with all its simple charms as well as flaws. Definitely not a fancy or Disneyland-type place. Has a few decent places for a lakefront meal or drink. Just walk around town to admire its authenticity and be sure to walk up to the rocky peninsula for the outstanding views (you'll likely see some sheep, donkeys and chickens long the way).

We didn't stay in Erseke town, Sofra Kolonjare is out in the countryside in the region of Erseke, we enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend this for people who like countryside, walking and peace. Take bottled water with you. The restaurant is good and for 2 nights the menu is varied enough so you can enjoy the experience. Breakfast is varied you get what you get but its plentiful. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed our visit.

Very nice place, clean, Orthodox church in the center. We didn't manage to climb the observation tower, it didn't work early in the morning. It's a nice neighborhood near the old bazaar. The brewery is worth a visit - they have a couple of tours a day and a beautiful restaurant next door in the park.

Lot of local stores with local fruits, brad and cheeses in fantastic prices. The lake is extremly beatiful. The water is warm, crystal-clean and colors are so pretty. Food in restaurant is very interesting and in good prices. At the night lot of people are walking (in the summer), streets looks likes better than night club sometimes :D. Driving is "Alban style". Quite hard at the start but after few days it's ok.

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but...

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but fine for any reasonably fit person. Good to see the ruins of the monastery and the mosaic, follow the red and white stripes. Then through the green gate to the end of the promontory where there is an old pill box with views across the Lake Orhid. Hotel Leza stocks a wheat beer more to our taste if you like ale. Lin is a pretty village one of the oldest inhabited in Europe.

The city is lovely, lots of good restaurants and coffee...

The city is lovely, lots of good restaurants and coffee shops. The Medieval Art museum was brilliant as was the photography museum (though strangely no shops in either). Highly recommend a trip to the cross on the hill and the Church of St. Elias, the most spectacular views. Sky Hotel bar is a great place to view the city and surrounds. I wished I had stayed longer and look forward to a return visit.
