Exceeded expectations especially from someone who expects nice accommodations. Service was excellent as well as the location. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Hans, the owner, is very helpful and provides excellent suggestions. Everything! Honestly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, both in terms of the quality of the location/facilities and food, and value for money. You can tell it was designed by an architect as every room we stayed in had spectacular views. On arrival we were welcomed with a glass of wine, and when we checked into our room we were given a free bottle of wine, hats, a reusable water bottle, soft drinks and traditional argentine snacks. Almost all the activities (which included horse riding, archery, wine tour and tasting, tennis and bike riding) were included in the price of the room, and there was free coffee and water on tap all day. Even the facilities you did have to pay for were amazing were amazing quality and value (for example the massage and facial treatments). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (we had more than a few annoying requests and the assisted with every single one with a smile!). Finally the food and wine were delicious, and came fresh from the garden/vineyard- the in house sommelier was particularly knowledgeable and on top of everything.

Staff is amazing! Very helpful and thoughtful. Sole helped me in the morning with the booking of my rental bikes, wine tasting and lunch. And Claudia was very helpful too. Making sure I got a taxi, and send a text message to make sure I made it to my new destination ok :). The room I had was lovely, I could walk straight into the beautiful garden with swimming pool. Bed is comfy and everything is very clean.

If you ever decide to go to Mendoza, this is perfect paradize for you! we travel a lot, I cant remember when I had accommodation like this. not talking about the room itself, room was more than perfect, but - setting, pool, wine, restaurant, quite, in the middle of wineyard... perfect spot for visiting all other wineries. just rent a car and enjoy Club Tapiz and surrounding area.

Staff is super nice... location is beautiful and relaxing... and enjoyed playing with the adorable dogs. We got upgraded to the mega suite, so we had this stunning view of the vineyards and mountains. Folks also helped us plan some trips. We also liked talking to the other guests. Breakfast was good -- pastries, yogurt, jams and fruits all made on site. Yum.

The beautiful grounds and building in this "garden hotel", a.k.a. boutique hotel and the very attentive and efficient staff, including the girls in the office, the servers and chef in the restaurant and the people cleaning the rooms. We will be strongly recommending this hotel for Mendoza visitors.

You would need a reason to stay in Lujan, rather than in...

You would need a reason to stay in Lujan, rather than in Mendoza city itself. Visiting family in our case, or the vinyards of course. Quiet compared to Mendoza but lacking big city amenities. Easy and cheap to Uber into the city. About 15 minutes. Public transport avaialble (but we did not use). Probably safer.

On first arrival in Chacras de Coria it is easy to think you have made a mistake as it looks so quiet. Unless you are an an absolute party animal you will be mistaken and your stay will likely be one of the highlights of your time in Argentina. Good restaurants and a chilled out feel are two of the many highlights of the town.

Excellent location , close enough to the city centre and transport , but far enough out that you don’t get the noise . Lots of shops and the main bus station here , only 7 km from the airport and an easy road too .

The central Plaza is a very nice place to sit down and have a drink or eat something. In Chacras there are so many options to good gastronomy that there is always a perfect option for what one is looking for. Brunch at Shelby was fantastic.
