A new and exceptionally clean hotel with comfortable rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. Our room was ready upon arrival—even with kids—and had a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast was varied with plenty of options to choose from. We appreciated the free parking and complimentary spa access included with our booking. The room was very clean and spacious. Wifi speed were good . Breakfast was a decent spread. The lady that checked me in was very nice and friendly. Plenty of parking space in the back. Bed was super comfortable. Great view from the bedroom.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grandhotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful, in particular Sebastian at reception. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front of the hotel with a small balcony and a spectacular view of Lake Brienz and the waterfall. The room was really clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious and well presented. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with a lovely walk down to the lake, the funicular train, and several hikes around the waterfall. The outdoor pool area is also lovely, both for a swim and to sit down for a while. A wonderful, tranquil slice of heaven. Can't wait to return!

In reality, the room is even more beautiful than in the photos (which already looked great). Everything was perfectly thought out — spotless clean, fully equipped, and with an amazing view. There are 3 swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, and also one next the lake, you can also choose to swim in the lake. There are other water activities but we don’t have enough time to experience. An underrated gem!

An underrated gem! Beautiful historic city surrounded by alps makes for wonderful views in all directions. Definitely take Nordkettebahn up mountain for overlook at sunset. And plenty of interesting places to visit in the altstadt including palace, Court Church, Dom St Jakob, tower, and Tyrolean museum. Just wander down streets, enjoy architecture and city vibe. Excellent Christmas markets too.

Zermatt was a very lovely walkable village. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip up to Mt Gorenat and the Glacier Paradise. Both trips are amazing and should be taken. Then wander the village and enjoy the buildings and the views.

Trento is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains. There are many quaint streets, plazas and areas to visit. A visitors pass is included in the tourist tax which gives you free travel on buses and the cable car. The centre is very walkable, great place to visit.

Amazing.y awesome! The city, restaurants and speciality shops were wonderful and within walking distance of our apartment just off the pedestrian zone. Food was delicious with lots of different offerings…Japanese, Turkish, local specialities like fondues and meats. Sho owners were friendly and helpful.

We were there for a quick trip, ostensibly to go to Jungfraujoch, which was a fantastic day trip. We spend the other day exploring Interlaken, which is such a gorgeous town, and going up Harder Kulm to the lookout.

Monteux is an exceptional place. we visited the Christmas markets and had a day out at Gstaad. Boats were not running, but it was winter, so we knew that. We took the MOB to Gstaard, train was excellent - Gstaard exceptional for a few hours visit. We decided to go and walk through the cobbled area of Old Town Montreux, but thee was nothing there -nice view when we go to the top, but nothing interesting on the way up.

Solden isn't my favourite- but we were early in the season...

Solden isn't my favourite- but we were early in the season so didn't get the true vibes. It sells itself as a big ski area, but it felt like smaller parts connected rather than a big area. It has long run which I think give it the km but the valley runs are not open in early season ( as expected) The views however are gorgeous and. Nice variety of ski runs especially when it's the first week back and you want to be easy on the legs. The village was one long street. That was then easy to navigate. I don't understand why there are so many table top dancing bars and so glaringly obvious! That is not what we go to Austria for and it really drops my impression of the town. You don't want to be walking your children to dinner and seeing that right on the main street.

We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well...

We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well equipped kitchen. Public transport was punctual and free with a Sommer Card provided by our hosts. All lift passes that we used were free also. The only cost was a booking fee for getting up to the Schladming Galcier. (PREPARE TO QUE FOR THIS ONE). Be aware that shops are closed for religious holidays etc.
