The BEST LOCATION EVER for ski in Austria!! This is a 5 star Hotel , with the most beautiful chalets!! We stayed in 306 . Clean , comfortable with excellent facilities. The breakfast was very good “ even with champagne “ The dinner “ 4 course “ was out of this world… compliments to the chef . The staff was very friendly and assisted us with everything!! Thank you for helping us with the ski hire… excellent!!! The spa with the amazing pool , took our breath away!! Wish we could go back tomorrow!!

Location was excellent. Excellent breakfasts good choices. Bonus of being given a “Joker” card to use on local lifts in Saalbach and Hinterglemm. It also gave discount on many other activities and cafes. And gave free admission to the crazy golf. Also given a free local bus.

    Absolutely amazing hotel with staff that made the stay unforgettable. From the warm welcome (though we were later than expected due to weather), to the personal and individual service though there were two large functions at the same time during our stay. The staff made us feel at ease and comfortable, and always made us feel like they had time for us. The rooms were impeccably clean and cozy. The food was delicious with many options to choose from for all meals. The spa and pool were very well maintained and clean, with very professional massage services. The work rooms were great with good sound proofing, multiple plugs for charging and very comfortable chairs. The small details in everything, to ensure comfort for the guest, were very well thought out!

Everything is perfectly designed for families with children—there are so many activities and entertainment options that our kids were never bored for a second.     Beautiful surroundings. An excellent place for summer hiking. With the Hochkönig card you receive at hotel's reception, you can use all the cable cars in the area, enjoy the beautiful views, sample local cuisine, and get some exercise. There are trails for every level of ability. After a busy day in the fresh air, you will be happy to take advantage of the hotel's wellness facilities. A great dinner is the icing on the cake.

Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

    A very beautiful destination, we were alone on the mountain ridges most of the time. We would definitely like to return. For swimming, we recommend the lake in Zell am See rather than the local swimming pool, which is quite small and completely crowded.

    MIttersill is not a big town, but it sits in the middle of an amazing area full of mountain views, castles, and amazing hiking especially if you use the many, many ski lifts in the area to get up into the mountains. Location gives easy access to Kitzbuhel, Grossglockner Pass, and numerous parks and beautiful hiking areas. Recommend staying out of town in the many properties available on the hillsides. Beautifully built homes with lots of wood, decks for views, and easy access to roads, grocery stores, and everything needed for a great vacation!

    Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

    Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. The ski runs down to Leogang itself are among the best in this area, with #206 being a great cruising blue with unexpectedly excellent snow late in the day when everything else was slush, and lots of fun short reds and blues for the weak-legged at the top of Asitz. Leogang village is quite spread out between the Sonnrain/Leogang/Rosental area (a small village with a supermarket and bakery), Rain (a small hamlet with a massive hotel, attached restaurant and little else), and... whatever the bottom of the Asitzbahn is called - still Leogang? We came via train, and used the train/bus to get around, but be aware Leogang station is a 25 minute walk from anywhere useful. Rain has a large hotel and not a lot else. We did need to go on hour-round-trip walks to get to the supermarket in Leogang proper. That was fine, because we were here for the skiing and the access to the skiing is great. If you're looking for a very quiet, upmarket environment with great skiing access, Rain is the place to stay. If you want more convenience, check out either Leogang itself (more stuff, but you'll be bussing to the lifts if the morning) or the Asitzbahn area (a bit more to do than Rain, but no station).

    Saalfelden is a cute little resort town close to Saalbach...

    Saalfelden is a cute little resort town close to Saalbach Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn ski fields. One hour from Salzburg, 2 hours from Innsbruck & Munich. There are a few supermarkets and it is very central to lots of cities. Haci Buba Bistro is a great place to eat, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from (& a McDonalds). Zell Am See is 15 minutes south, which is a must-visit town with a beautiful lake. We enjoyed our stay here.

    Wram , welcoming and relaxed. Atmosphere of adventure and history. Other residents very friendly. Breakfast exceptional- and we have travelled a lot around Europe- one of the best. Fresh and tasty evening meal with something for all tastes ¹on the menu. Perfect location for the pass .
