wonderful large rooms in an interesting cluster of renovated older buildings by the Mur riverbank in the center of Graz. Great contemporary art in the corridors and a cool cafe for breakfast and afternoon snacks. Very clean premises and upscale design furniture in the room as well as nice bathroom products. Great quality linen and towels. I received a room upgrade as a Genius member. I appreciated the extra amenities, all great. Staff are professional and helpful, especially the lady on the day I checked out.

A beautiful city. Neither small nor large. It has history, lots of sights, beautiful streets with beautiful old buildings, yet modern. A large selection of restaurants with a diverse offer, from traditional to international cuisine. Excellent organized public transport.

Very nice place to stay close to Graz. Only negative aspect was one impolite staff member. My question in English regarding hot water for oatmeal was met with scorn and I was directed to the container which stated 'tee'. She then mocked my query to her colleague. I don't speak German well but I understand it perfectly. Her comments were just rude. Perhaps label the container Hot Water? Pity this spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant overnight stay. I still gave 9/10.

An absolutely beautiful area near public transportation that can take you anywhere you want to go. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch and was so convenient. You must take the train into the main square in Graz and enjoy bratwurst at one of the local food stands and take the lift in Schlossberg Hill. Breathtaking views and there's a slide to take you back down to the bottom if you dare.

Great little village with all the comforts one needs.

Great little village with all the comforts one needs. We had dinner in two different Gasthaus of the village and people were very welcoming and helpful! Portions are huge and very tasty!! Great place for local walks or for a day-hike. We also went for a stroll to the playground with our kids and relaxed by the lake. Everything around is very tidy and well kept .

Graz itself can be visited in a day or two.

Graz itself can be visited in a day or two. The city has a charming old town that gives a feeling of the intersection between the Mediterranean and the mountains (the Alps), what Graz truly is. The city is not large, but has everything for a short stay amusement, including the mentioned old town, the hilltop fortress, several museums and theatres. Longer stays in Graz would best include sightseeing of the surroundings: near Graz there are many beautiful forests, mountain ranges and picturesque villages. I would suggest going by train from Graz to any other city, because from the train you can do sightseeing altogether with the feeling that you went back in time, as the railway and trains give 2000s vibes while being pretty efficient at the same time (note that train tickets can be a bit expensive, tbh).

I booked this place on our way from Croatia back to Germany, stayed only one night. We arrived very late, but check-in was very smooth. I communicated with the host and she waited us until we arrived 30-min after my estimated arrival. The hosts were very kind and nice. rooms are large for us a family of 4. We would love to visit this place at another chance and stay longer.

It is a cute town.

It is a cute town. For those who have been to several big cities, Graz could be a bit too small. Food quality is amazing, definitely recommend to read some reviews before stepping in. Public transportation is okay. But Graz mobil app kept on crashing making winter traveling extra difficult.
