Gold Coast is an amazing family holiday destination so much...
Gold Coast is an amazing family holiday destination so much to see and do from theme parks, Currumbin zoo sanctuary and the beautiful beaches. We hired a car to get around and it was reasonably priced. We loved our stay at Burleigh heads and Broadbeach in apartments with a pool and most places are close by or across from the beach. Both have a great vibe with cafes and restaurants, family friendly and quieter than surfers paradise. We did a hotel stay in surfers paradise but wouldn't bother going back next time. It’s very busy, a bit dirty and touristy. It has lot going on but we preferred the vibe of the beaches further along the coast. And they are still close enough to the theme parks. Dream world, movie world and SeaWorld were our favourite theme parks for 5, 8 and 10 years. They also loved Currumbin wildlife sanctuary. Give yourself at least 6 nights to explore especially if you’re doing 3 or more theme parks as they are huge days and we found it best not to do back to back. We’ll be back for another holiday!Guest review byJenNew Zealand - 8.0
Good stay. Room staff not the best.
Good stay. Room staff not the best. Staff need to freshen room and make bed in morning and not in afternoon. Also leave configuration of bed which was requested ( Double ) and not change to 2 singles. Wife not very happy. Parking of car easy and access to room from Car Park easy.Guest review byJohn - 10.0
The main road to Spring brook was closed.
The main road to Spring brook was closed. Made it a bit confusing. All the businesses are OPEN Amazing areas of interest. Polly's kitchen, Boomerang Farm cafe, golf course, herb farm, Panchos, lots more The area was full of things to doGuest review byTraceymumAustralia - 8.0
Only overnight stay
Only overnight stay As a home stay certain services were presented like communal television room , this meant that you couldn't relax in your room ,especially important when one guest had had a medical procedure that afternoon . We were fortunate to have an en suit. some rooms has to share bathrooms . Communal kitchen for a cup of tea. Other activities were available for guests like jigsaw. Very steep drive for low cars meant park out on foot path Very amazing views and very quiet. Pleasant owners Food available 5 minutes from homeGuest review byHeatherAustralia - 10.0
I loved the tranquility most.
I loved the tranquility most. Currumbin Valley is lush and green, yet it is easy to access both the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers popular tourist destinations. Apart from the expected theme parks, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and a coast full of famous beaches, the Direct Factory Outlet Harbour Town in Biggera Waters would have to be the biggest in Australia. We also visited the Kiva Spa in Mullumbimby. There's now The Banya Bathhouse in Mullumbimby too.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Tallebudgera valley is beautiful and close enough to get to places of interest while being out in the countryside. Spent some time in Burleigh Heads where you can get excellent coffee from Paradox Coffee Roasters. Had a vegan lunch at Izakaya Midori in Reedy Creek, amazing Japanese food. Visited David Fleay's wildlife park - well worth a visit.Guest review byJudithAustralia - 10.0

We needed a place for the night which was clean and comfortable and the Blue Pelican suited all our requirements as we were not on holiday, just passing through on a long journey. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms was clean and neat. The Club across the road was just right. The BIstro was very well priced and we had a good choice of meals but enjoyed a roast pork dinner.Guest review byMarilynAustralia - 8.0

General cleanliness was good but could have done with a Spring clean ie dust in the blinds, cobwebs in the corners & ants in the kitchenette. The wifi was very poor but wasn’t staying long enough to make an issue of it. The pool did not look inviting and did not look as advertised as many leaves in the pool with filter hose floating around. Garden and back yard looked unkept and nothing like the manicured gardens in the advertisement but the basics were done ie mowed. Door lock code appeared to be working but I was able to get in without a code so it could have become a security issue. These are all minor issues that can be easily fixed so my stay was pleasant otherwise.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Unfortunately as the weather was cyclonic, and we only had a 1 night stay we didn't get to see what the area was like. I can say that the location is absolutely beautiful, high up with amazing views ( as much as I could see through the driving rain). I would love to visit the area again. I found it easy to get to from the M1. One day, I will be back.Guest review byMadeleineAustralia
