It was the most magical day, completely with nature (which is a big say for me as I live in a van normally so am normally in nature). Toilet and shower block was average but clean.

Great place, everything you needed pool,spa,bikes,paddel boards,kayaks, a club for dinner all at your fingertips.
Staff were amazing and friendly. I had a little medical episode while staying there. I was taken to hospital buy ambulance, and they looked after my partner very well and came and saw me the next day to see if I was alright.
Highly recommend this hotel and will be back

I had a wonderful stay at Shoal Bay Holiday Park! The tent was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable experience. Being close to nature, I stepped out of the tent at night and was greeted by a sky full of stars. Plus, having the convenience of parking my car right next to the tent was a great bonus. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

We appreciate the phone calls months ago as we had booked two nights one week apart that would have looked like a booking mistake on our behalf so thank you all for making sure we had booked both dates.

We really liked the accommodation. It was very comfortable and the location right by the sea was excellent. There are great hiking trails nearby and the centre of Prost Stevens/Nelson Bay is not far away. If we didn't live so far away, we would love to come back often.

I loved everything, the apartment was really nice, fully furnished, makes me feel at home :). It was so close to the beach and from coffees and shops. And, the team was really welcoming and so nice. I can only highly recommend it.

Liked the position and the pool,though it would be handy to have a railing for elderly people. Apartment had very noisy neighbours next door who were screaming and fighting and making loud bang noises,mostly at night which ruined our holiday and our sleep.Beds were uncomfortable and place needa an uplift.Blood stains on quilt in main bedroom,took it of the bed, disgusting.

The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating. Could not use the shower or the air conditioner due to there below poor condition, including foul smell. Beds were terrible. Motel was cramped with terrible parking. It was a very unpleasant stay, we couldn’t wait to leave.

Loved the location of Bannisters which is right across the road from the Bowling Club and down below Bannisters is the sailing club where you can get a coffee overlooking the water. There are quite a few restaurants nearby and Holberts Prawn and Oysters are a few minutes drive away.

Stop the people drinking & smoking in groups outside their room entrances, not backing in utes to sit on back & booze & smoke, should have assigned area for that not close to next units entrance. Have been coming to same motel for 20 years & always been good, but really needs some control, should not have to wade past groups of drinkers to get to your car & door.

I liked that we had the beach so handy, even though it was winter, and hubby played putt putt, and we enjoyed a hit of tennis. We were warm and cosy in our cabin, but I would like to visit in Spring or Autumn when its a little warmer to have BBQ's and sit outside at the Cafe. Overall a nice spot to stay, and handy to other activities, amenities and sightseeing.

We love taking our dog on holiday with us - so Anna Bay has a big dog friendly beach which also has shallow end. The "locals" were all really friendly, relaxed and gave helpful suggestions.

The location was good with nearby beaches, cooling trees and a soothing atmosphere. The cabin was just enough for a family of four. Local Coles nearby for shopping.
Koala shores had a lovely pool where kids could swim 🏊 and a 🍖 bbq area where we can use for dinner.
