Fantastic central location, super comfy bed! I wish I’d found out what make the mattress was I wanted to take it home! The staff were also very lovely and we really enjoyed our whole stay!

An outstanding place to stay sandwiched between two attractive beaches on the outskirts of Bowen. Our upstairs unit was spacious and clean and had fabulous views from the valcony out over the well kept grounds to the ocean. We self catered, but the motel has a bar and there is a restaurant down by one of the beaches which is open on certain days of the week. I understand there is also a Thai restaurant nearby which opens at weekends. We enjoyed the circular walk up to the radar station lookout and clambering over the rocks to a couple more secuded coves. There is also a swimming pool sensibly situated to the side of the building we were in. Reception was friendly and efficient, and we appreciated the on site laundry.

Lovely new hostel. Everything is very clean. The mattresses are very comfortable. They organise events to get people to know each other. The staff is also very friendly!
