Super cute hotel in the main street of Plovdiv. Easy access to the taxi and a short walking distance(5 mins) to Kapana,a very charming district of Plovdiv. The room was extremly clean and spacious. Great view from the balkony. The staff was friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the receptionist who helped me carry my staff and find the taxi on the last day. Amazing hotel,city and people.

Great little hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms are a bit dated but all of them have a wonderful view and for this price you really get value for your money. The location was walking distance from great restaurants, tucked away in a small street next to a river. They provided free parking on site and both our rooms had a private balcony with a stunning view. The rooms are very spacious and provided with all you need for a comfortable stay (including a fridge, tv, good wifi connection, spare blankets and pillows and a cute sitting area). If you book with them directly you get a much better price!

The venue is nice and definitely exceeded my expectations given the 2* classification of the hotel. The definitely could get an extra star given what they actually offer in my opinion :-). Staff was nice and helpful. The balneo center is well equipped and maintained with variety of procedures offerred (mud, luga, jacuzzi, pool, etc). Tasty home-made food available for both lunch and dinner.

The rest in this apartment was successful. The host took care of our rest. The apartment was clean, comfortable. The location is good, 15 minutes to the railway station, 15 minutes to the bus stations, they are located in the area of the railway station. On foot to the center 15-20 minutes, by bus 10 minutes.

Food and service at Sani was very good.

Food and service at Sani was very good. Train journey to Plovdiv good and very cheap. Trail walks good. Asenovgrad is changing rapidly, new buildings generally look really good. Sign Communication and rubbish collection needs to improve. As does an explanation of how to get to eg pamporovo.

Karlovo is a beautiful, picturesque city surrounded by the mountain. It is a place where humanity crosses nature. It is a perfect place for someone who wants to breathe fresh air and go on hikes, even if you just walk around the city you would see beautiful scenery everywhere. Not to mention that it is a very historicaly rich place and worth to learn about, great visionaries lived there.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Breakfast and dinner were a real pleasure. Their products are of very high quality and carefully selected. Impressive SPA zone. Unique design of the common spaces in the spirit of Bulgarian tradition. Spacious and comfortable hotel room. I’d recommend everyone to experience our pleasure of staying.

Visited for hiking to Balkan Mts, Botev Peak.

Visited for hiking to Balkan Mts, Botev Peak. Enjoyed our stay and the mountain. Imposing Socialist monument at the centre of the town. Nice restaurant at the very center. Nice draft beer and nice surrounding. Other restaurants of Kalofer were closed at the afternoon. We were surprised with the road network of Bulgaria which is in very good condition. Make sure you pay the appropriate vignette online before entering the country by car.

I really do suggest you take a walking tour of Plovdiv as you will miss a lot of interesting places and things to see if you try to do it all on your own. It is a place with hidden gems. We used Free Plovdiv Tour and found the lady very informative and interesting.

This is a great place to visit.

This is a great place to visit. My son broke my camera, so I have only half memories documented. More to that, mineral water was off on our second day of staying. I am not sure how and why, but yeah... The town is worth visiting. Do it once and decide for yourself if it is worth to come back. For you. We will some day

Forte was quite small but if your into history or just the views well worth a visit parking and entry for two people 9 leva as you would expect lost of steps put all had safety railings you will need to Google the history of the forte and church as on site information is limited

I think every Bulgarian must visit the Museum of Vasil Levski - it is kind of mandatory, we are obliged as descendants of those brave men. The other place that charmed us was a restaurant called "Едно време" (Once Upon a Time). It has a great atmosphere and service, and the cuisine is delicious.
