Beautiful views of the mountain. The apartment was sparkling clean. Towels were thick and super soft. The beds were comfortable, good air conditioning. Parking is on the street (normal for Bulgaria) in front of the hotel. There are only a few rooms so no problem with parking. When the owner saw us looking for where to park he came out and showed us where to park. There is a very reasonably priced gift shop on the ground floor. You can walk from here to Shipka church in 5 mins. There is a convenience store 10 mins walk away in the centre village and a restaurant next door that has a menu in English.

Great location, very close to bus and train station and also to the park and main boulevard with cafés and restaurants Staff were very helpful, I was able to get my key and leave my bags in the room at 9am while they cleaned it, and was able to use the room by 11am (luggage storage is also available if the room was still occupied) Room was exceptionally spacious, with a couch & coffee table that had an outlet nearby. Bed also had nearby outlets. Shower was also extremely spacious.

We only had one night in Stara Zagora but it made us want to come back. A lovely green city with some amazing ancient remains, it was good just to walk in from the station area, have an excellent meal at Uniqato 2 (highly recommended) and stroll back.

Lovely small town with its hidden treasures.

Lovely small town with its hidden treasures. Make sure you check out the art gallery/history museum - one of the best in the country! Historical landmarks, calmness, nature, great food and even specialty coffee! Take the longer road to Sofia if you have the time - a bit longer but worth the views along the mountains.

Shipka is a quiet village at the foot of the Shipka memorial...

Shipka is a quiet village at the foot of the Shipka memorial church. It was central to all our sightseeing and easy to locate. There are a few restaurants, shops, bars and even a pet shop. We enjoyed walking around the church and the village in the mornings and evenings before we went about our day of sightseeing to nearby attractions and towns.

The hotel was elegant and the locally produced wines are delicious. The rooms arespatious, with beautiful views of the surrounding areas. On a negative note, the massage facilities / services were closed during our stay, reception staff require more training on customer relations, food was over-priced and below quality and there are limited activities in the surrounding areas. There was also an unpleasant smell from the bathroom drains

Stara Zagora is a wonderful city.

Stara Zagora is a wonderful city. There is so many attractions that you can attend to. There is a zoo, there are many parks where you can go for a walk or to relax. It is a pleasure to walk down on the streets. There are so many bars, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, stores and even couple of malls. You must visit Starazagorski Bani.It is a magical place. There is a forest path around the lake where you can enjoy walking in the nature. You can drink mineral water for free ;) or just to enjoy the fresh air.

We enjoy Kazanluk very much, great shops, fantastic food and great accommodation. A lot to see, love learning about the Rose oil production and history, the number of Thracian tombs, the tomb of Seuthes. Very rich history

In the short period we stayed, we managed to see all the...

In the short period we stayed, we managed to see all the sights around the town. The responsive staff advises us on how to get around everything so that we don't waste our time and where they cook the most deliciously so that we don't go astray. Luckily for us, the place to eat turned out to be no more than 15 minutes from the hotel itself. The short walk between the hotel and the restaurant gives an opportunity to see a small part of the city, revealing part of its unique charm. On the negative side of things, I would be hard pressed to describe any. I would be lying to myself if I said we experienced any kind of inconvenience.

Stara Zagora is a lovely city to spend time in.

Stara Zagora is a lovely city to spend time in. Has everything you need (once you know where to go!). Lots of bars and restaurants with a variety of food choices. A great place to eat is Uniquato and for desserts, Nedelya cafe is a must! The high street is clean, always busy, fun for people watching. There are lots of parks in the city and it is full of different stores and a lot of second hand clothes shops for people who enjoy shopping!

Good city, clean and tidy, definitely visit the Rosarium park with the museum of roses and the thracian tomb. Good restaurants are all over the city as well. I would recommend "Chanovete" - good food at good prices.

Nice located, just near "Valley of the Thracian kings", you...

Nice located, just near "Valley of the Thracian kings", you can visit the Thracian Thombs / tumulus that was excavated until now, you can visit the Roses Fields (if you are there in June / July) and the Roses oil museum in Kazanlak, do not forget to visit also the beautiful Shipka Orthodox Church. And of course, Buzludha and Socialis Torch monuments, also the Shipka Peek monument need to be visited!
