Botanique is a one of a kind experience. The incredible design and ambience of this place is unlike any luxury hotel we have stayed in before. Particular highlights were the spa, and the food - breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are all locally sourced and designed to be a nod to Brazilian cuisine. The tasting menu at Cellar was top notch, creative and better than a lot of haute cuisine for the same price in London. Cocktails are just as excellent. The staff are warm, professional and remember personal touches about your needs. It is clear that the new management is building something very special. Worth every penny!

This was the most beautiful hotel we stayed in during my visit to Brazil. The attention to detail of all the features, the location and the restaurants and amenities the hotel had were excellent. The location on the beach with the pool is beautiful . We upgraded to the jacuzzi room, which was not much extra if you compare to hotels in Dubai where i live.

Despite being expensive, it is a Brazilian city that is well worth visiting because of the architectural, climatic and cultural contrast with the rest of the country. It has good leisure options, many options for culinaire and at some seasons of the year the cultural options are the highlight. The city is small, so don't expect all the services you would find in a metropolis, but it has more options than would be expected for a Brazilian city of 46k inhabitants.

Ubatuba is all about the sea and the mountains, a wonderful place to be close to nature. The beaches are many and, all so beautiful. The food is exceptional, but a bit pricey. During long weekends, expect to encounter quite a lot of people.

The "Cidade dos Romeiros" has a good offer of cafés and restaurants, but they tend to be crowded in the evening. Get there earlier for dinner to avoid queues. The Pizzeria there (Tutti santi) has a good range of italian food. The staff, though friendly, tend to be slow during peak times and waiting for being served afetr being sat can be a nuisance. The vantage point on the other side of the highway (acessible through ski-like cable cars) is a must, especially to see the sunset above the sanctuary and river.

It's a beach town, so don't expect high-end restaurants or the likes. Tombo beach is lovely, service in most places is very good (if not always that professional or English-capable), and the vibe is relaxed.

Campinas is a metropolis and it shows all the problems inherent to a metropolis. However, it doesn't show any of the niceties inherent to a Metropolis. Even its nicest areas didn't look nice enough. Everywhere I went, and includes a Samsung store at the Iguatemi mall, I experienced a clueless individual eager to unleash a suspicious, ill intended creature on me for nefarious reasons. Who wants to be in such a place? I visited a McDonald's at the Iguatemi mall and I couldn't make the employee understand I wanted a cup of coffee just like the one they sell in the U.S. She kept telling me what I wanted was wrong... If there is something fun for me to do in Campinas - and the sine qua non condition is safety, I have yet to discover it.

There isn’t to do around the hotel, the city is just an inland city with lots of attractions for young people. The most of big supermarkets are far from the city center and the location of the hotel isn’t that safe as the most Brazilian cities.

The airport provides all that you may need regarding restaurants and shops. It could do with some larger notice boards showing departing flights. existing ones are small and need to scroll through the info. Our flight to Johannesburg had no English announcements.

Our visit to Santos was for departing on MSC Grandiosa...

Our visit to Santos was for departing on MSC Grandiosa crossing to Europe Genoa. Therefore site seeing was limited. But what we saw was great and friendly People. From Sao Paolo, Guarolhos Airport, we made use of COMETA bus services to Santos Bus terminal. Excellent and affordable, from Santos bus Terminal we used a Taxi' to The Studio as well as to MSC Cruise Terminal.

Beautiful island with options to do loads.

Beautiful island with options to do loads. The natural beaches like Praia da fome and Castelhanos are beautiful. We went for a small break but wish we have been there longer! We have stayed in Vila Kebaya an amazing hotel super central but with a rainforest vibe very relaxing, comfortable and great staff. One tip only - use repellent!
