I arrived on Sunday. Took the skytrain to downtown. So simple. Found my hotel, got settled and went exploring. Hockey game on Monday night was excellent. Vancouver lookout also fantastic. Walked and explored more of Granville Island and seawall, Stanley Park. Tuesday we took a seaplane sightseeing tour and trip to Capilano Bridge. I highly recommend this. Ice skating at Robson Square, so awesome. Supper at Joey Burrard excellent steak and lobster. Gastown, see the steamclock, explored the area. Safe walking around even at 1 am. Wednesday lots of rain, still went for excellent shwarma meal. Skytrain to airport. Simple again. Transit is quick efficient and easy to use. I had an amazing adventure in this wonderful city. I highly recommend Vancouver to anyone.

I did not spend much time in Richmond this trip, as I came in to see the Lene Lovich show at the Rickshaw theatre in Vancouver. I am however familiar with, and drawn to Richmond, particularly for it's diversity in both people and entertainment options.

This was a whirl wind trip for us so we didn't get to do too much. You really need to have time and money in Whistler and we had neither! lol We saw the village, toured around, went out to Lost Lake, to the Re-Use-It centre, ordered pizza and had fun swimming and in the hot tub. We are local and I used to live in Whistler so we didn't do touristy things which was just fine!

We enjoy Victoria so much as it is a quieter city and easy to get around, nothing is too far away. Traffic is lighter and it is just an enjoyable picturesque place to be. We enjoyed eating food from the Whole Foods buffet as we were able to pick and choose from an assortment of healthy items.

Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many.

Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many. We made use of the various walks, the Kenna Cartwright park had a fabulous ridge walk. We ate in the Noble Pig, walkable from the accommodation and well worth the visit. Kamloops lake is very popular if you have a boat or like fishing. It is a town of many sports, we even found a "horseshoe" court! Wild deer came into town to eat the overflowing vegetables at the community gardens. A sight to remember

We came to Prince George to visit the Ancient Cedars and what a great experience that was just over 1 hour and 15 min past PG. We also spent time geocaching im the area, visiting many parks like Moores Meadow, Connaught Hill, and Ness Lake which was great for swimmkng, and Deadfall brewing which were all fantastic. We quite enjoyed our mini trip to Prince Geroge.

I was stumped by poor early season snow. No ones fault there. Revelstoke seemed to be a nice place - the stores are local, as are the restaurants. I would definitely use Revelstoke as a ski destination or as a base for National park adventures in the future.

North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. Drinks and dinner at Joey’s, not too pricy and great presentation and taste of food. Easy access to downtown via SeaBus.
