Everything was perfect.
Huge parking. Quiet place. Welcome fruits in the room. And amazing view into Augsmatthorn and Sugiturm peaks which were on my list to hike up :-)
And the bed! OMG - the most comfortable pillows I have used in the hotels ever. Even wanted to bring one home :-) Two mornings out of free slept longer than planned - either pillows were really so comfy, either I was tired after the hikes. Probably both :-)
Breakfast - as expected - nothing fancy, but really good as for the 3 star hotel.
Food in the restaurant - delicious!

The hotel's staff were all so nice! We had a great time sitting and talking with Dave and Quentin and the chefs, Chili welcomed us so nicely. It's a very warm and family place. The design of the place is very cozy and welcoming
Location was perfect for us but it is far from the centre.. We liked it cuz it's quiet and the view is 10/10
And there is a very nice playground for kids

Excellent location, beautiful view. Easy to pick up keys in a box. Well equipped kitchen, salt, pepper, oil and more. Welcome pasta to cook and coffee. Underfloor heating. Cowbells every morning instead of an alarm clock.

It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake...
It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake as pictures shown, it is located on the top of the mountain, it takes about 20 mn drive on an extremely narrow road to reach there.
Not a single supermarket or restaurant nearby, it is recommended for people seeking tranquility and peace, not for those who plan to visit other places every day.
a washing machine would be an advantage.
I liked that it has Fondue maker and all what's needed to prepare some homemade meals.

Very nice location, great view of the lake and excellent walks.
Be careful of the local drivers. In the 3 days we stayed at Axalp we were bullied by 4 very aggressive drivers on the mountain roads.
