The room was spotless and very comfortable, with a clean, well-maintained bathroom. Breakfast was a real highlight—delicious, with fresh local produce. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond by helping us park our sledges in the basement. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommended!

United KingdomIt’s in a beautiful location, the Glacier Express stops there, which is way I chose it. You get a railway card from the hotel which I used to go to Davos which was free. Also you can go to the famous Landwasser Viaduct, there is little train to take you there. Would definitely go back. The staff are friendly, breakfast was good. The restaurant food was excellent.

View from sleeping room and balconies is amazing. You see different mountain peaks and the lovely village beneath. Contact person Manuel was very professional and has given information as ski lifts, grocery shops and sightseeing and others. Also Manuel was available for support on demand via WhatsApp even on Christmas (unbelievable). My family and me will definitely try to book the same house again.

1. The view from the hotel room is excellent
2. Room size and all features facilities were good ,tip top, my young kids loved the bunk beds
3. Staff were very kind , understanding and very helpful
To give example we forgot rain / snow guard for one of kids stroller they arranged for one on the fly , they were very understanding, if you have small children these small helps mean a lot
4. Bath small pool was excellent
5. Paradise spieleplatz is heaven for kids for any age, you have so many options they love it
6. Additional playing areas , piano , lot of small toys for playing here and there, even at restaurant you have a kids play area they really loved that
7. We went there as 3 family groups total 4 kids , I had 2 toddlers and the other ones were 9 and 11 year old , each kid enjoyed a lot with so many options
8. Steam bath was also very good
9. Food was good
I must appreciate the owner lady and her husband were very kind and helpful, also welcoming which made our stay very pleasant.
If you don't mind staying little outside of Davos platz / banhof then this is the best option I would say for couples and toddlers / family with kids, and also for groups

I had the best stay ever! A wonderful hotel with an amazing view in a lovely village. The staff was extremly helpfull and friendly. I really recommend a stay here, and book a room with the balcony to see the mountains first thing when you wake up.

No traffic. You get off the train and stroll up to the hotel. No cars for miles around. Tranquil and peaceful! Great for sledging straight from the back door.

Fantastic walks all well signposted.
Fantastic walks all well signposted. Hotel Weisses Kreuz ideally situated in village, 12 minutes walk from station. Bergun is an excellent staging post for the trains that travel from Bergun, over the Bernina Pass to Tirano (E.g. Glacier Express). A must visit, in good weather, is Ospizio Bernina and Alp Grumm.

The village of Filisur is a beautiful, traditional Swiss...
The village of Filisur is a beautiful, traditional Swiss mountain village. It is easily connected to the world by the Rhaetian Railway and frequent bus service. Ideal center for traveling in the area. Train service is hourly. There is also a short train ride to Davos Platz (hourly). Nearby Bergun has more facilities (and an interesting railway museum), and also a lot more traffic through town. Filisur has only one food market and two small hotels.
