The staff was very helpful. On the checkout day the front lady helped us to call a taxi and even call the driver to reconfirm about the car size, since we have a lot of luggages. (Thank you!!) Big new clean room. The bathroom has both shower and bathub.

I stayed two nights at the Arthur Hotel in Guangzhou and I highly recommend it. The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and above all, the service is outstanding. Special thanks to Lee and Nana at the reception, who were incredibly attentive: they helped me book taxis, send a package, and use local apps. A big thank you to them for their kindness. They made my stay smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely come back!

This was definitely the best stay I ever had in China! Hotel was suburb. Staff great. Special thanks to Oscar, the concierge. He went far and beyond. Oscar understands how to make every guest to feel like a VIP. The hotel is also in easy walking distance from shopping mall and great dinner places next to the mall.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yuexiu Hotel, and I must say, everything was absolutely splendid. From the moment I arrived, the communication was flawless, which is often a challenge when traveling in China. The staff spoke English well and were always eager to assist, making my stay incredibly smooth and stress-free. The room was modern, stylish, and equipped with all the essentials. I was particularly impressed by the high-end amenities, including a Dyson hair dryer – a thoughtful touch that added to the luxury feel. The breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. Housekeeping was impeccable. The cleaning lady not only did her job perfectly but was also incredibly friendly, ensuring that everything was spotless and well-organized throughout my stay. The reception team was also very helpful and made sure all my needs were taken care of promptly. In short, Yuexiu Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

Beautifully renovated historic hotel right on Shamian Island, there's even a little museum with old artifacts and photos of the place. The room i stayed in was comfortable and atmospheric. The rooftop pool is kinda fun, given the views, though not especially large and no towels that i could see. No worries though, I'll gladly recommend this place, and give a big thanks to the very helpful staff at reception, who helped me make train bookings and other things.

The location is perfect as there are restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. We booked a suite so we also had the complimentary drinks and snacks in late afternoon which my dad enjoyed the most. I myself enjoyed the heated pool with powerful jets. Breakfast is perfect and the staff there are friendly and amazing.

The new part of the city was so clean I was impressed and I loved all the flowers and trees by the roadside. I really liked the city at night time everything lit up it looked great. I noticed that there was very little noise from the traffic only to be informed that most vehicles are either electric or hybrids. The only negative was the Taxi drivers trying to charge too much but we learned how to deal with that after the first day there. Guangzhou gets the thumbs up from me.

Friendly, beautiful place; easy to move around. The transportation system works and works well. Everything is affordable, and people are willing to help. There are so many shops you will go crazy and get tired moving through them. The things are good quality, from tech to clothes. The apps are good, and they are your one-stop shop; 1 app has everything you need and more.

A boutique newly renovated budget hotel, with a family owned atmosphere. Less than 50 Yuan by taxi from the international airport. Clean rooms and well designed. I would visit again under similar circumstances. The restaurant was very simple but both the evening and breakfast cooks were happy to prepare meals to order. Value for money for those on a budget and not wanting to travel all the way to the Guangzhou CBD.

Guangzhou – A Wonderful City to Visit Guangzhou is a very nice, clean, safe, and bright city. You can find a wide variety of delicious food options, and the people are extremely respectful and welcoming. There are many sightseeing spots to explore. Prices are generally affordable, making it a great destination for travelers. Visiting the Canton Tower during both the day and night offers unique and beautiful views of the city. The night cruise is fantastic — it gives you a chance to see the skyline filled with high-rise buildings illuminated by stunning LED designs, something you won’t easily find elsewhere. There’s no cheating, no crime, and very little noise thanks to the widespread use of electric vehicles. Taxis are plentiful and fares are quite reasonable. If you're interested in witnessing impressive urban development, Guangzhou is definitely a city you must visit.
