Very clean ,best location to enjoy nature , very good staff all over . Lady Georggette the owner of the hotel is marvellous. She did looked after us like her own children. Suzan at reception speaks very good English which was very helpful.

Perfect place if you want to visit the nature of Santo Antão, as you’re right in the middle of a beautiful valley with hikes right outside the door and easy transportation to the towns and other hikes. The facilities are perfect and it’s very clean and comfortable.

The Oasis was very appropriately named, tucked away in a garden of papaya trees and lush vegetation. The location was excellent for hiking on the mountain trails. There was car parking close by in the town square. The rooms were comfortable and spacious each with a balcony overlooking the garden. The breakfast was delicious with fresh papaya each morning, home-made cake and plenty of coffee. The hosts were extremely attentive and helpful, sorting out transport for us to return to the ferry when we left and serving our breakfast early.

I really loved this place! I am convinced it’s the best hotel in Santo Antão. Everything was very clean, new, and beautiful. The room was great and the bed was very confortable. I slept so well! The staff were amazing — really nice and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious, homemade and fresh! and we had dinner at the hotel twice: highly recommended! This hotel is perfect for relaxing after long hikes and exploring the island. I strongly recommend it! Thank you!!! 🙏🏾 😊

I just finished my second stay at Kasa d Vizin as a solo traveler, and it was just as fantastic as the first time! We had a great time at Luz d'Sol. It is conventiently located in Paúl, with plenty of restaurants, bars and several minimarkets within walking distance. The rooms are new and clean with comfartable beds. Cold drinks are available 24/7 from a fridge in the hallway. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hospitality of our host Juan and his family. He arranged a taxi to get us to Cova do Paul, including a few photo stops along the way and was happy to provide us with some hints and tips for hiking the area. Our two year old daughter had a good time playing with the kids. A tasty breakfast was served every day in the family's living room and we were even invited for dinner. Laundry service was provided at no additional cost.
