The accommodation is located directly on the sea, and in the evening you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace. It's about a 20-minute walk to the harbor, where you Canon catch the aluguers in all directions. I would particularly like to highlight the helpfulness and support of my host Nelson, who not only gave me detailed tips for my hikes, but also came with me to the harbor on the day of my departure and secured me a place on the ferry after the online booking system had let me down – thank you so much. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on São Nicolau and would love to come back 😊

I had a great stay at Fatima's place! The amenities were of great quality and spacious, you can even get a sea view from the top floor. Fatima was an amazing host who made me feel like someone from her own family. I even had the chance taste her homemade cake. I would definitely recommend!

We loved the location right at the bay with a nice balcony to observe the daily live. You can sit there for hours and not get bored. Our host was a very nice guy who takes good care of his guests. He also arranged a good rental car to explore the island as he had a car rental business too so that is pretty convenient. Sao Nicolau is a fantastic place to visit, the locals are extremely friendly.

Magui's apartment is lovely, spacious enough and clean with a homy feel to it. It is equipped with everything one might need during a short stay. I really appreciated insect nets in the windows and a fan in every room, which helped to keep the place airy and cool. Magui is a super nice and welcoming host. She was waiting for me when I arrived which allowed for a smooth check in experience. She also helped me arrange transport to where I wanted to go. Her house is located a short walk from the city center and the beach. The whole area is mostly quiet and pleasant.
