Everything was very clean and beautifully designed, with great attention to detail and excellent taste. The spa is amazing — not crowded, very clean, peaceful, and truly pampering.
The location is perfect: just a few minutes’ walk from the ancient monastery, close to the natural springs, and near the famous Lovers’ Bridge. The surroundings invite you to explore the village on foot and enjoy its unique atmosphere.
The food and service at the restaurant were excellent, and the hotel staff were exceptional — attentive, caring, and truly dedicated to making our stay comfortable.
The beds were extremely comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend Casale Panayiotis and are already planning to return.

Superb breakfast served to the table, great variety of cold plates, with the choice of eggs.
Had dinner at the restaurant, too. Complimentary starter and dessert were a great bonus. The meal delicious, good value for the money.

I do not understand the negative reviews left by some former guests of this hotel. This is an authentic place with a century-long history, beautifully restored last year and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I spent two nights here at the end of November and truly wish I had stayed longer.
The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The spacious lobby with a fireplace, Earl Grey tea, and a large bar creates a warm and atmospheric space. The entire hotel breathes history, with newspaper clippings, portraits, and carefully preserved antique details that make you feel immersed in a real historical setting. It is truly one of a kind.
Most old hotels in the area are already closed, so I am very grateful to the new owners for preserving this place with such care and love, giving visitors a rare chance to experience something special. Breakfast was a buffet with enough variety to start an active day. The views from the balcony are stunning, and the room was spacious with a brand-new bathroom and a powerful hot shower. You can also enjoy breakfast on the veranda overlooking the mountains and breathing fresh mountain air.

The room was compact, but it had everything we needed. We really appreciated the small cooking area, which was well-equipped with all the appliances necessary to prepare our vegan meals. The large fridge was especially useful. We also loved the pool and the terrace table, which allowed us to enjoy our meals outdoors.

The location was very central to the village. Everywhere close at hand. The owner and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We would definitely return there.

The view was amazing and the room stunning. The host was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed even when we experienced trouble with the car rental company. On top, the host also offered a very delicious traditional home made meal.

The guest house is wonderful with local charm. Have a mezze dinner, which is of high quality. The only drawback is that the food was so delicious and we ate almost everything and, as we are not used to eating so much, we could not get asleep😀

There were all kinds of sport facilities: basketball, football, ping pong etc, and the most popular hiking trails in Troodos are close by car.
Since there was a problem with the electricity when we arrived, we had the opportunity to try both the small house and apartment type accommodations. You can have more privacy with a house, as it has an own kitchen, but the rooms are much smaller and the wifi signal was very weak, practically none. The apartment was much more spacious, but if you want to cook, you need to use a shared kitchen. There was even netflix in the apartment that was missing in the house and unlike in the house, the wifi worked properly.
You need to have whatsapp on your mobile, as you get check in info by whatsapp. They have a phone number and they were responsive, could communicate in English.

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors.
The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors.
In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. Landmarks such as the chapels of Saint Nicholas and Saint George provide opportunities for pilgrimage, while Marina's Rope Park offers activities for the more adventurous visitors.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.
Well organized beyond to what meets the eye.
Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area.
There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

Omodos is a beautiful village with lots of nice wineries near by. It can get busy with coach parties but that is to be expected. Most restaurants and cafes close early evening so not a great deal to do in the evening. Wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking round all the narrow streets but it is so worth it.
We have visited several times and enjoy it each time.

Pedoulas was a wonderful base from which to explore this area of the Troodos Mountains. It was our first time in the mountains of Cyprus and we wanted to see sites such as Kykkos Monastery, Archangel Michaels church etc. and to do nature trails in the mountains. We achieved these objectives very comfortably from our location and could also move on to the west coast with a scenic (but very winding!) drive back down to sea level:)

Absolutely loved being here. Great location. The host got us fruits from here garden orchard. She brought us lovely eggs from her own chickens. She just was so lovely and explained the area to us and made us so at home. We loved it so much we stayed more than planned.
Easy to get to the Olympus mountain and the Todooros mountains.
Great little place. Parking is super just in the yard. Private too very quiet.
The best WiFi reception. The best host and kindest.
Thank you for making mine and my partners stay homely relaxing and so special.

Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are really friendly and they show love for their place. It is obvious they take good care of it. We had dinner and lunch at two different places and they were both really good. There is also a nice coffee shop with views of the mountains.

Kyperounda is one of Cyprus’s most charming villages, offering an impressive range of facilities for both visitors and locals. You can find everything you need — from a supermarket and pharmacy to a hospital, restaurants, a butcher, and much more. The village is surrounded by beautiful nature, with fresh mountain air and pleasant weather that make every visit relaxing and enjoyable. A wonderful place to explore or stay! In winter there is very well organised Christmas village which adds up to the overall experience.
