The receptionist was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. She answered all our questions and was very warm. The room we stayed in was very roomy, comfortable, clean and modern. The bed was plush and wonderful. We slept really well. The bathroom was spotless and modern. The water was hot and had very good pressure. All the amenities were brand new and very nice! We had complementary waters and ice. We will stay here again in the future. And the location of the hotel being right across the street from the airport was perfect. Our flight back was at 6 am and all we had to do was walk across the street!! Wonderful and practical!

I liked the fact that even if the weather is not perfect for a walk you can spend your day at the hotel SPA area were saunas and pool are amazing. It is very spacious. Highly recommended ! The views from the windows round the hotel are beautiful, the facilities are the best of the best. Breakfast- comes with your booking, unlike most the choices for breakfast are catered to everyone. Even down to mini ( breakfast ) pizzas for children. Check in - the entrance is something I’ve seen in films, it’s beautiful would be stunning when surrounded by snow. Reception was long winded and they were admit that they needed to photograph my British passport, however was unable to give a reason. Shown to our room. Room- there is nothing that has not been thought off when it comes to the rooms here. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are stunning, the view from our room was nothing I’ve seen before. Mini bar free to use with a selection of fizzy, water and some snacks. Plenty of hanging space and a laundry facility. Facilities- everything you need to relax after a day in the mountains wether that be in the summer and you wish to hangout in the outdoor pool in the winter after a day on the slopes there is the steam and sauna rooms to choose from ( 3 of them ) also a snow room for thouse so like a ice bath. Sun loungers and a few beds. Towels provided, Robes and slippers. Restaurant- plenty to choose from however the restaurant is a little pricey but the service was excellent as well as the taste. Over all the stay here was not far short of excellent, the location is very well placed as well.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. Special shoutout to Gigi at the reception, who was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to assist me. My room was spotless and offered a beautiful view, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious food and attentive staff. Overall, this hotel provided an exceptional experience, and I can't wait to return!

Excellent, very authentic castle hotel. The surrounding park is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful. Unfortunately, we arrived rather late and did not have time for dinner, but breakfast compensated us very much. Very good kitchen with traditional Transylvanian and Szekler food. There is a playground for kids and a beautiful small lake with boats.

Small tourist oriented city, not so much to do besides sightseeing and ski. Very nice views of the mountains on a sunny days. Been there twi times in winter, not sure if there is anything to do there during other seasons.

Brasov is a city close to my heart.

Brasov is a city close to my heart. Even though i came here many times, i still find some new things to explore: hidden coffee shops, undiscovered streets to walk, new houses to stare at, new restaurants to try out, new local breweries to get drunk into. This is on top of revisiting the old things i know and enjoy every time in the city. The running contests are also an occasion for me to pay a visit.

Cluj Napoca is vibrant. Students keep it full of life. It was easy to use public transport. One big bonus is the bus from the airport. There is no need for expensive taxi rides. There are many restaurants and food is of good quality.

Best location.

Best location. Ski and walk along the river right from your front door. Spas and pool is great with lots of small amenities. Everything is clean and stylish. Food is a bit expensive but in line with the rest of Bukavel. We will come again with more guests. Ive skied in 3 countries at over 20 different resorts.

Strolling through the old town, whether by day or night, offers a truly delightful atmosphere. We enjoyed dining out as well as preparing some meals in the rented flat. We only wished we had more time to spend there. The Christmas market was wonderful, and the festive lighting during the Christmas season was absolutely magnificent. We cherished every moment of our stay.

Beautiful little village/town on the foothills.

Beautiful little village/town on the foothills. Much less crowded and touristy than Zakopane. If you don't need the buzz then Bialka is rather perfect I'd say: the trails and roads are still really close and the town has all the services and facilities you would want. Plus, it has some beautiful architecture.

A great historical town surrounded by mountains with great nature, views and interesting landmarks. Peles castle is a must, both outside and inside. Mountains are beautiful, whether for hiking or skiing, there are gondolas, hike trails, sleds, buggies, etc. The city center is cute and cozy, the architecture mix is astounding, and the park is nice. The restaurants are good, but expensive mostly, while Uber/Bolt are very cheap. Brasov is an hour away via train, and Cantacuzino castle (where Wednesday was shot) is 15 minutes via car in Busteni. Plenty to see, would recommend.

Lovely area a little way from the busy centre of Zakopane although do expect a lot of traffic on the main road (wasn’t a problem though) as this is a year round holiday destination. Car parks can fill quite early especially at the weekend and be careful of cars if walking on roads where there are no paths.

Uzh is just a border town.

Uzh is just a border town. Better than many border towns but still not a whole lot going on. The Old Town, is quite pleasant. Most importantly, it is safe there. No homeless, no beggars, no thieves, unlike what you find in many western cities today. It's still just a town you go to, to get to somewhere else.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Host is the definition of a super host — their communication was prompt, friendly, and they made us feel welcome from the minute we booked.
