I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Nobilis in Mladá Boleslav. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The hotel's stylish concept and great atmosphere make it stand out. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a perfect place to relax. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day right. A big plus is the late check-out option, which adds to the comfort and flexibility of the stay. Another highlight is the small but well-designed spa area, which can be reserved for private use—an excellent touch for unwinding after a long day. One would expect a hotel of this caliber in London or Vienna, but finding such a high-end, beautifully designed place in a small village near Mladá Boleslav is truly surprising and impressive. Overall, Hotel Nobilis delivers on all fronts: exceptional service, beautiful design, comfort, and great amenities. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mladá Boleslav!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted by a beautifully kept and picturesque hotel area with a convenient parking space. From our very first steps inside, we felt warmth and coziness - exactly what we needed after the chilly weather outside! Check-in was quick and easy, and we were soon settled into our comfortable rooms. Having been on the road for almost two days without proper sleep, we could truly appreciate how peaceful and relaxing everything was. The beds were perfect, we slept for nearly twelve hours and woke up completely refreshed. Early in the morning, we went for a walk around the area and were amazed by how serene and scenic it was, with wild mushrooms, graceful horses grazing nearby, and the beautiful colors of autumn all around. We really loved the location - quiet, atmospheric, and full of charm. We’d be happy to return here again in the future.

This amazing place is worth seperate trip. We planned to stay one night in there, but stayed for 3 nights. The place is much better and more beautiful than in photos. Very well maintained and restored property, amazing swimming pool and teritory for kids, horserifing with calm horses and beautiful scienery ariund the property. Rooms are spacious and comfortabe, very cleand and much better than in photos. We tried almost all of the restaurant menu and everything was amazing delicious and nicely served. Staff were very friendly, helping and kind.

I loved the position of the accomodation. It was in the middle of the forest, during night it was really dark, it was easy to fall asleep even for me, who is sensitive to light. The triple bed with my son was great option, finally I had enough space to sleep. It was a unique experience for us to wake up to the sound of a rooster.

Located within an hour's drive of Prague. The apartments are clean and the staff is friendly. There is an elevator. Late check-in is allowed (we checked in after 10 PM). Breakfast is buffet-style, extensive, and delicious. Near the hotel, there is a beautiful area with stunning nature. I will consider staying at this hotel again.

Beautiful little town , mainly the old town with a lot of heritage combined with car manufacturer history through Škoda ... cute little cafes like @škoda-nezajit and variety of restaurants from local pubs to luxury fine dining like @mg- restaurant .... a lot of shopping options @bondy or @olympia shopping center but also just 1 hour drive to Prague

Poděbrady is perhaps one of the most scenically-set small to medium-sized towns in Europe and feels much larger than it really is. My home town is Belper, Derbyshire and one would have to go back over half-a-century to when its population was that of Poděbrady's, which is something to cause one to pinch oneself - "There's the railway station. There's the park. There's the main square. Oh, did I tell you about the river...and the meadows around it? Silly me!"

As a beer lover the main purpose of this trip was to sample fresh beer at the Berounsky Medved Pivovary. However the town is also very interesting and historical. Also there are many activities that take place in the town square through out the year. Worth a visit if only on a day trip from Prague on the train to Beroun.

Super clean and quiet accommodation. Perfect for a quick stop and the amenities were wonderful. Even a teddy bear and soap for my little girl. Would really recommend. We could even see the airport from the room windows. The lady that checked us in was so friendly and helpful.

Castle is absolute must.

Castle is absolute must. It is breathtaking (both views and stairs). Tour is 3 times to fast, but on the other hand, for a architecture/history nerd (like me) 4 hours would still be not be enough. Tourists didn't yet trample every corner of this medieval town, so you can enjoy cold beer and tasty goulash in peace.

This is not really a tourist town.

This is not really a tourist town. Only staying there because of Czech family nearby. However, it has great railway hub, eg Prague in 40 mins and I can recommend the Spa town of Podebrady. Travel is exceptionally cheap - 75% discount for Seniors and kids so really easy to get around even if you pay full rate and you don't need to be a Czech national nor have a discount card. In my opinion Kolin is punching above it's weight!

Beautiful Cathedral City.

Beautiful Cathedral City. Santa Barbara is a breathtaking Gothic Cathedral in the centre of town. Ossuary is a genial work of art adorned with bones made into art. You cannot take pictures inside though. The neighbouring Cathedral is also stunning. There are a lot of restaurants in town for good Czech food.

It is one of more modern style spas (100 years old only) in the Czechia and easy to access by train from Prague. Great for cycling, because it is mostly flat land and routes available along the rivers. There also historical landmarks from the time before the spa. Nice park and 8 freely available mineral springs (April-October). You can take a boat ride as a full trip or only one-way (to Nymburk and get back by train or to the merge of rivers Elbe and Cidlina). It is good for small children too, there are some fine playgrounds, but only two are near the historical part, rest is in the north of the town (across the railway). Other interesting spots for a trip (by a car) are available from here (for example Kutná Hora).

I opted to stay in Kněževes because of the proximity to the airport. However, it would have been much easier to get to the airport had I stayed in Prague near the 119 bus line, for example, that is much more frequent than the bus lines to Kněževes. However, if you are renting a car and not relying on public transportation, perhaps Kněževes would be a better option.
