What a wonderful part of Germany to visit. Simply breathtaking views all around. The room was spacious, clean, warm and very comfortable. The place has great access to the town on foot or bike. The host was very pleasant and gave good advice. Would stay here again

Nice room, it was very clean. It was also very quiet.

Nice room, it was very clean. It was also very quiet. The hotel was next to a street but there was barely any traffic during the night. The beds were good. Very good pillows. Shower good be better. The stream was a bit hard. For me not a problem but maybe for some people less comfortable. And the curtain was not very good so the whole bathroom was a swimming pool. So that could use some improvement. Shops and restaurants on walking distance and free parking available. I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely old town with many half-timbered houses, plenty of restaurants (we didn’t eat at any as we were at the wine festival, but we were told they were good. Nice panoramic walk to the Starkenburg castle, lots of friendly people. Directions from the station to the town centre could be better, but wasn’t a major problem.

We stayed in the old part of Bensheim, everything in walking distance, lots of old, half timbered houses, old part of town is charming. The Waldorfer Hof was our favorite restaurant. Easy to get to surrounding cities/towns by bus or train

Neckarsteinach is a beautful town on the Neckar River.

Neckarsteinach is a beautful town on the Neckar River. Heidelberg gets all the press but Neckarsteinach (for me anyway) is a much more desireable location. Also, it has four castles/fortresses!

Very good place for an overnight stay, definitely recommend...

Very good place for an overnight stay, definitely recommend it. It's relatively close to Heidelberg, easy to go there by car Morlenbach village is pretty small, nice and quiet place to stay. Just be aware that the roads to the property are quite steep, in winter with snow on the roads it could be tricky to get to your destination.

We arrived Oct. 6, 2023 at about 17.00 Hr in the afternoon...

We arrived Oct. 6, 2023 at about 17.00 Hr in the afternoon we dit not receive the message with the information on how to enter our Room because we were traveling still. When we arrived we noticed the message on the stairs down to the basement area and found the key in the #2 metal basket we opened the door and entered through the outside door of the basement. We found the #2 room on the end of the corridor and opened it we were totally amazed what we found a real small Beth with a head (single 1 person) Head pillow with virtually no filling, and also a skimpy 1 person (what was ones a Overthrow and not a blanket) that also was ones had some filling. It looked and smelled the Beth linen was used and not changed for the new Gests. There was no way we would stay there and spend the night. This was totally not what we expected and inadequate. We made pictures of this disaster and left leaving the keys in the aforementioned basket with a note that we will not use this room and want our money back. We got a room at Holliday In in Darmstadt for the night. It did cost us a lot more but is worth it we could not stay in that Dump. I did write a email to the owner but no reply. The only thing what I received was a request to “Rate” our stay. We are not happy Customers and could not stay in your "Apartment" M and C Hartman

There are many attractive villages along the river Neckar,...

There are many attractive villages along the river Neckar, with castles up in the hills. Ideal for hiking and riding your bycicle along the river. This village has 4 castles, some of them still in private hands. Neckarsteinach is not the most attractive village in the area, it's a bit dusty and messy, but a good starting point for visits in the vicinity. My advise: Dilsberg ( a small village up in the hills), Bad Wimpfen, and of course Heidelberg.
