We really liked everything and everyone involved. We thought breakfast and dinner were fabulous. Views of the Bavarian countryside from the restaurant and our room with balcony were splendid. Excellent outdoor areas for swimming and lounging. Sunsets at dinner were nature at its best. Food always high quality, fresh and beautifully served with a wide selection for all tastes. For breakfast, self service was easy and quick. Table service, for breakfast and dinner was fast and professional. Those serving us were very friendly and very capable. Our room was lovely. Beautifully desecrated, spacious, with a two person bathroom (separate Loo) and very large Smart TV's. Super comfortable bed. Cleaners left everything spotless. Birkenhof is a tribute to the professionalism of its owners and staff. Five stars are not enough. What more could one want?

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hikers even get a free footbath and their clothes washed, if needed. The room was modern yet comfortable, with a beautiful valley view from the balcony. The food is good, but especially the large array of breakfast options incl. freshly made egg dishes were lovely to start the next hike. The location is also directly at the Goldsteig trail. Fair price. This has been the place that's been the most accomodating to long-distance hikers on my entire trip thus far!

My favorite hotel among all hotels in Weiden. The price is ok. Polite staff, cheap and nice breakfast, clean cozy rooms with enough space. The wi-fi connection is good. For someone the noises of the city might be an issue, but they did not disturb me at all, and I think the central location of this hotel is just its another advantage.

Wonderful hotel! new, comfortable, modern. Located in the forest. Silence and the birds sing! The staff is just magical! Restaurant food and breakfast are amazing! Unfortunately, we did not take swimsuits, there are also saunas there.
