The hotel is located on the bank of the beautiful Scheweriner Lake. You cannot get a better location than this place in that region. Bad Kleine HBF is about 1.4 km from the property. The major attractions in Mecklenburg (such as Hamburg, Schewerin, Lubeck, Wismar, Rostock etc.) are easily accessible by train if you do not want drive to those places. Parking facility is right in front of the property and there is always enough space for any type of vehicle. There are two large supermarkets within 1.2 km from the hotel. The owners of the hotel live next to the property itself. They were very helpful when I reached them on their number. The room was regularly cleaned. I liked the view of the lake from the balcony which is accessible with the room key. Overall, I had a pleasant experience staying at Seehotel Bad Kleinen.

Excellent central location. Good value compared to other hotels in the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely terrace. I was able to store my luggage for free after check out. The room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Powerful, hot shower. Tea/coffee provided. The Haribo and postcard on the bed were a nice touch! Wish I’d been staying longer :)

The stay was very easy and with fresh facilities. Just what we were looking for. Big nice room that fitted our entire family. And a HUGE plus for the staff that was incredibly nice to us and helped us with a (not hotel related) problem we had with swiftness and such nice manners. A big thank you for that!!

Wonderful Hotel Very convenient for us on the way from Lubeck to Munich( very close to the highway but in very calm and nice surroundings) Room is clean and spacious . Hotel full but no noise at all . Breakfast perfect . Staff super friendly. We will come back for longer stay for sure

Really worth a visit at any time of the year.

Really worth a visit at any time of the year. Beautiful town center with the palace as main attraction. Good for water activities like kayaking in the summer. Nice Christmas Market in the month of December.

I had stayed in Schwerin some twenty years ago and always...

I had stayed in Schwerin some twenty years ago and always had wanted to come back. I enjoyed my second stay very much - just wish the weather had been better for us to have more walks along the water and in the delightful old town. I warmly recommend Schwerin to anyone wishing to explore this wonderful region of Germany. Restaurants serve excellent German food, the canals and lakes are idyllic, and of course there is the famous fairytale castle to visit: all in all many reasons to plan a stay in Schwerin.
