United KingdomWe had a fantastic stay at this brand-new hotel, which impressed us from the moment we arrived. The modern décor is stylish and fresh, and the beachfront location is unbeatable, offering beautiful views and a constant and welcome sea breeze.
Although we didn’t spend much time on the beach itself, as the sea isn’t ideal for swimming beyond paddling, the nearby jetty offered some decent snorkeling, though it could get quite busy and hectic. Once the hotel’s own jetty is completed, it will definitely enhance the experience for guests.
The bedrooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Highly recommend booking a swim-up room.
The pools are spotlessly clean, and we especially loved the double loungers in the infinity pool, which were a big hit. One standout feature was the permanent sunshades and pergolas over all the sunbeds…no more battling with umbrellas!
The dining experiences were another highlight. The buffet was consistently high in quality, and we really appreciated being able to book five different à la carte dinners throughout our stay. As a bonus, both the beachfront and Italian restaurants also offer unlimited à la carte options for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and great variety.
One of the most memorable moments of our trip was a wonderful horse ride along the beach right in front of the hotel. The nearby stables (just a five-minute drive away) made it easy to arrange, and it’s an experience I would highly recommend.
Another good thing that the hotel offer is free transportation in the hotel golf buggies to nearby shops/attractions or just simply for a ride along the beachfront. You can also hire your own self-drive buggies nearby.
What truly made our holiday special was the outstanding level of service from all the staff. Everyone from the gardeners and cleaners to the restaurant teams, were friendly, professional, and welcoming.

All of them in their role, Taha, Dahi, Yahia, Mahmoud and Mustafa were very kind and helpful with us during our stay. Awesome place owned by Amr, who also became a friend.
Also Zizo who was our diving teacher made the experience hard to beat!

The hotel is beautiful, well-kept, clean and has beautiful vegetation. I would like to thank all the staff for welcoming me so hospitably. Thank you to my friends Ahmed Hassona and Ahmed Omaromar for helping to make my stay enjoyable! I can always count on you, you are wonderful! The food and hospitality at the Ninos and Mukai Takai restaurants are, as always, at the highest level. I chose Nino's restaurant to celebrate my birthday, the food is delicious and the service is so nice! They surprised me with a birthday cake, decorated the table and finally sang Happy Birthday. It was adorable! Big thanks to Mr Ahmed Kassem for his hospitality, you are full of professionalism and empathy! I received a beautiful room with a sea view. The possibility of early check-in and late check-out completed my stay and I was 100% satisfied. Thanks to Mr Alaa Ebaid and Mr Kaream who worked on the beach during my stay for your hospitality in the evening and to super waiter Fady from Liner Pool, your service was brilliant!
The biggest surprise that made me the happiest was becoming a part of the Jaz Family by planting my tree! My little dream comes true.

THANK YOU SINDBAD! I wanted to start this review by truly thanking each & everyone of the staff, I’ve never been more satisfied on a vacation. Amber and Dasha from the guest service, were the kindest ladies ever. They made sure that my trip was one to never forget! I met a lot of amazing people, like our doorman Khaled who always helped us with our luggages, Mo who is the lifeguard at the main pool, Mena who made the best cappuccino’s at the bar in the lobby…I highly recommend to book all your trips with the Sindbad Experience desk, Ahmed helped us very well with booking an amazing trip to Orange bay. During this trip, our Diving/Snorkeling instructor Lotfy made sure we were feeling safe (as it was our first time) & thanks to him we had an amazing bootday! The animation-team was great, the cleaning service was very very good, our bartender at the beach Romary always made the best cocktails while singing, you made us laugh all the time!! I can continue by thanking a lot of people, but I hope to whoever reads this review to book the hotel and experience meeting all these amazing people themselves. For me, it is without hesitation obvious that I will come back and I hope that you get reevaluated to be an 5 star hotel, because you really are. On arrival Moamen at reception welcomed us warmly and let us use the facilities straight away and then came to find us when our rooms were ready, we were upgraded to a fantastic sea view room with a huge comfortable bed.
We have stayed 4 times in this hotel over the last 5 years and would say that every room we have been given is very good, when upgraded you do feel that they take care of you.
The room service was very good, keeping us stocked with water, soft drinks and clean towels.
The service, the gardens, the pools and the ambience of the hotel make it stand out beyond others and I would easily rare this hotel 5 stars.

This hotel offers at least 7 different venues, all offering fantastic choice and taste - the 2 that stood out for me was the Mongolian and Italian with attentive service and with fine choice and tastes, there are also Chinese, American, Mexican, Fish and Buffet.
Breakfast / Lunch
A wide choice of food so everyone will find something they like and attentive staff will help with drinks.
This time is a short stay but we will always return to this hotel.
The grounds are magnificent, the staff are fantastic, the food 5 star and of course the sun is always hot ... Thank you

The resort is beautifully designed, they have lots of flowers and palm trees that really are taken care of. the rooms are spacious, the cleaning couldn’t be better and the staff is very attentive if you tip. The food was delicious and a lot of variety, even at breakfast time. Every evening they have a different specific cuisine so you can’t get bored. we also tried both of the restaurants: vista mare and the fish restaurant and both were delicious. I can’t understand how people can complain about the food, as we read online in Egypt you can really have problems with the food but here it’s not the case. As for the animation, the animation team is fun, we participated almost in every activity and we really enjoyed it. The resort also has a jogging trail that we ran every day. We will definitely come again here because we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Cleopatra & thank you to all the people that made our stay feel so pleasant. Hakuna matata!

Everything was amazing, from the check in day until check out day, the stuff is amazing and always smiling, rooms are big "Family size" privacy is guaranteed, too many options in the main restaurant "Shahrazad" the Bedouin restaurant is also worth to try, they have a nice football bar for football fans, beach is awesome and proper for kids it's not hard at all to find a place for you in the beach, aqua is amazing for kids and young people, i will for sure come back and probably very soon!

The Seagull hotel was a very nice place to stay. On I arrival, the Booking agent, Basem welcomed us and, during the whole vacation, was on our service whenever needed. Rooms were freshly renovated and the cleaning service, with cleaner Ahmed, who was charged for our Room, did everything for our stay to be more comfortable. Room service and service at the pools were quick and pleasent. Big yes from us.

The service was proactive and friendly – the staff regularly checked in with us and were especially kind to our children. The heated pools and the water park were perfect for kids. Overall, a truly great five-star hotel.

Incredible fasciitis. Absolutely top notch staff, they could not have done more to make us feel comfortable. The most relaxing time ever! You can dive right off the beach and snorkel - an incredible reef right there. Tennis court, swimming pool and a great selection of food what is not to like!

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second.
We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited.
I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.)
It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.
Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere.
No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels.
Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.
The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around.
Prices are generally very low, not adjusted for tourists (except at nearby hotels).
We found only a few restaurants, but many fastfood places.

One of the absolute highlights was El Gouna — a completely different world within the region. Modern, elegant, thoughtfully designed, and full of charm, it truly stands out as a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Hurghada.
For those seeking an authentic local experience, the Old Town provides a more traditional atmosphere. The market area can feel a bit chaotic and crowded at times, which may not suit every traveler, but it certainly offers a glimpse into the local culture for those who enjoy exploring and bargaining.
The sea and diving scene in Hurghada were exceptional. With its crystal-clear waters and colorful marine life, it offers unforgettable underwater experiences — a true paradise for snorkelers and divers.
We also joined a desert safari tour, where the ATV and UTV rides were exciting and well worth doing, especially for adventure lovers. However, the Bedouin village visit and the extended safari portion felt a bit tiring and may not be ideal for everyone, depending on personal preference.
Overall, Hurghada delivers a rich mix of sea, sun, activities, and cultural exploration. Whether for diving, relaxation, or discovering unique corners like El Gouna, it’s a destination that offers a memorable and well-rounded experience.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen.
