Wow! What an unforgettable experience at SERRY Beach Hotel. This stunning hotel offers a breathtaking view of the Red Sea, with excellent staff and exceptional hospitality throughout my entire stay. Down to the little details. I left feeling deeply impressed, relaxed, and already excited to return. Be sure to book a diving adventure with their Divebase Academy. This property it’s one of the best place I have ever stayed at. I have no words for describing the attention to details and the perfect concept of this location. our stay at the lodge was exceptional in any sense. the room are large with a minimalist interior and a wonderful balcony overlooking the Red Sea. the infinity pool it’s wonderful . the restaurant and the service is more then exceptional… greeting you every day like it was the first time you were there and we felt so welcomed. everyday you can watch the sunrise right in front of the property and the Red Sea it’s so full of life and beauty. we did some escursions booked via the hotel and it couldn’t be better . every corner of this lodge it’s so nice and the people that work there make everything even nicer for your stay. Ahmed at the reception went above and beyond to make our stay even more pleasant. keep it up with your beautiful concept of peace and connect with nature cause you are winning . we only wish we could stay longer but we will definitely come back next time we chooce to stay in Marsa alam . thank you so much.

Hi everyone! This was already my second time in Hurghada, staying at the Seagull Beach Resort. I knew what to expect when I came back, but honestly, it still managed to surprise me in the best way. The hotel is huge, with so many services included in the all-inclusive package, so you never run out of options. The staff are just amazing – super helpful and always smiling. I have to highlight Hani and Ahmed, the manager at the reception, and also Mohamed and Mahmoud on the beach, who were incredibly friendly and made me feel really welcome. Another big plus is the location. If you want some action, you just step outside the hotel and you’re right in the center of Hurghada. You don’t need any transfer – you can just walk to the marina, the mosque, or wander along the lively main street full of shops and restaurants. And for those who like adventures, there’s so much to choose from: safari tours, quad biking, diving, boat trips, or even full-day excursions to the pyramids, Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, Aswan, or Abu Simbel. All in all, it’s the perfect place to relax by the crystal-clear Red Sea and at the same time explore Egypt’s unforgettable sights. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

The hotel is located right by the sea, with excellent access to the airport, aquarium, and shopping mall—it’s in a perfect location. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the gardens are especially well cared for. The reception staff were all kind and gave a thorough explanation of the facilities. I’m grateful to the manager who upgraded us to one of the highest-class rooms. Although it's near the sea, the air isn’t humid, and a pleasant breeze makes for an extremely comfortable stay. In addition to the main restaurant, you can enjoy dinner at around six or seven other restaurants, including those in the neighbouring group hotel. (Reservations are required, and some restaurants have an additional charge.) The water slide is a good size—not too crowded—so we didn’t have to wait long and had a great time. Since the hotel is family-oriented, there were no loud or showy guests, making it a relaxed and unpretentious place to stay. Next time, I’d love to stay for a longer period—especially if the food and drink quality is improved just a little more.

The resort is beautifully designed, they have lots of flowers and palm trees that really are taken care of. the rooms are spacious, the cleaning couldn’t be better and the staff is very attentive if you tip. The food was delicious and a lot of variety, even at breakfast time. Every evening they have a different specific cuisine so you can’t get bored. we also tried both of the restaurants: vista mare and the fish restaurant and both were delicious. I can’t understand how people can complain about the food, as we read online in Egypt you can really have problems with the food but here it’s not the case. As for the animation, the animation team is fun, we participated almost in every activity and we really enjoyed it. The resort also has a jogging trail that we ran every day. We will definitely come again here because we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Cleopatra & thank you to all the people that made our stay feel so pleasant. Hakuna matata!

We had a great stay at Stingerberg Aquamagic! The hotel is really nice and perfect for a family holiday. The receptionist and the reservation department were very polite and helpful, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. We especially enjoyed the services at the restaurant—everything was well-organized and the staff were kind. One of our favorite parts was the walk to the beach. It felt like walking through a beautiful botanical garden! Plus, there are lots of shops around, so it's easy to find anything you need or just enjoy some browsing. Overall, a lovely experience and we'd definitely come back!

Food: Many varieties, including Asian, Middle Eastern, European, and Africa. Quality of food is high and always fresh, even if they serve fresh Juices. Activities: they will keep you busy 24 hours, video games, Tennis, football, basketball, waterpark activities, cinema, skating, byccle, electric cars, and so on. The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.

The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Very nice and friendly locals!

Very nice and friendly locals! Not many tourists, no aggressive salesmen. The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around. Prices are generally very low, not adjusted for tourists (except at nearby hotels). We found only a few restaurants, but many fastfood places.

Everything is OK.

Everything is OK. Except that at the end the owner accuses you of opening some cupboard and drinking 3 beers without paying him. Ah, you specifically asked for his approval and left him money! Complaints follow to Booking, which asks you for 200 dollars for 3 small beers. I don't know... is this some kind of drain scheme, but be careful with this stuff!!!

One of the absolute highlights was El Gouna — a completely different world within the region. Modern, elegant, thoughtfully designed, and full of charm, it truly stands out as a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Hurghada. For those seeking an authentic local experience, the Old Town provides a more traditional atmosphere. The market area can feel a bit chaotic and crowded at times, which may not suit every traveler, but it certainly offers a glimpse into the local culture for those who enjoy exploring and bargaining. The sea and diving scene in Hurghada were exceptional. With its crystal-clear waters and colorful marine life, it offers unforgettable underwater experiences — a true paradise for snorkelers and divers. We also joined a desert safari tour, where the ATV and UTV rides were exciting and well worth doing, especially for adventure lovers. However, the Bedouin village visit and the extended safari portion felt a bit tiring and may not be ideal for everyone, depending on personal preference. Overall, Hurghada delivers a rich mix of sea, sun, activities, and cultural exploration. Whether for diving, relaxation, or discovering unique corners like El Gouna, it’s a destination that offers a memorable and well-rounded experience.
