The location on the cathedral square cannot be better. The hotel is in an expertly adapted and renovated fine historic building with a remarkable Art Nouveau façade, perfectly maintained. Spacious, nicely appointed, immaculately clean rooms. The front rooms command a great view on the square and cathedral. Breakfast was fine, a good choice of tasty food served in a charming interior - feels almost like being a guest in a family house.

Exclusive, luxurious, modern hotel. A real retreat and a real treat. At first glance looks like a typical pack em in Spanish hotel but it’s not. It’s exclusive because there are no kids allowed, it’s a bit expensive (but worth it), it is in fact a great piece of stylish modern architecture, with lovely ample rooms and effective air con, great helpful friendly staff with high standards throughout, superb breakfasts, great swimming pool and loved the spa (worth every penny @€20 a go), spectacular rooftop bar and exclusive also because Puerto de Nieves is far from the madding crowds. So away from it all and yet a short walk from the hotel to the charcos (natural sea swimming pools) and harbour (to harbour 15 or so mins on foot and a bit a of a steep path but very do-able and easy under foot). Can’t comment on full board, we ate out at night at the harbour restaurants which were great, plenty of the very best of fresh fish there. I’d recommend a room which is both sea view and pool view above ground floor. Ground floor / poolside (for me) lacks privacy.

The apartment had everything we needed, for 2 adultos, 1 baby and 1 toddler. It was spacious, well organised, clean, huge toilet and shower. The balcony was gigantic, we always ate outside and the kids could have a playground just for themselves. The pools and splash park were great for the kids.

Adeje is busy area, too touristy, a lot of hotels and rentals. Huge traffic jams on the highway. But a lots of grocery shops, shopping malls if you prefer that on your vacation. But the south is most sunny area in winter months.

If your at the top of the resort it's worth the walk to the main sea front down the steps as there are a lot more shops and places of interest. Restaurants, cafes, historic chapels and a wonderful little fishermen's museum.

Correlejo is a great resort.

Correlejo is a great resort. Lively if that's your thing, or quieter bars if you prefer. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance and taxi around €6 to The Strip if staying on outskirts. If hire a car El Cotillo Puerto de Resario, Morro Jable and The Giants of Morro Vallosa in Betancuria all worth a visit. Also highly recommend catching ferry to Playa Blancas, Lanzerote. €38 pp return as foot passengers. Went to Popcorn beach was recommended, but for us, a little disappointed as nothing there apart from the 'popcorn' beach. Road to get to it was also extremely uneven.

Good location of central bus station and connection by bus...

Good location of central bus station and connection by bus to the whole island. But there is no direct bus to the El Teide. In the city trash containers are located too close to residential buildings. They are emptied throughout a night. Trash trucks are very noisy and you will wake up at the night.

The beach is very nice and very long as connects to...

The beach is very nice and very long as connects to maspalomas dunes. The only downside is steps, although the is lift further now the promenade( didn’t use it). Playa del ingles is family friendly without full nudity; for full nudity need to walk around 20 mins down the dunes.

Lots of restaurants and shops.

Lots of restaurants and shops. Wide boulevard for walking along the coast. Beaches are small but sandy. Not gritty like some beaches. Plenty of supermarkets. I hear there’s a good hospital and treatment good and quick.

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic...

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic area of Maspalomas and instead enjoy the view of maspalomas dune from the mountains. We enjoyed the drive to Pico de Nieves. The mountains are wonderful. Canyons and then pine trees. The view from Pico de Nieves and through the journey there is incredible. The dunes deserve a visit as well as puerto de mogan. But the mountains are a paradise.
