Our stay was great from beginning to end. All the staff were extremely nice, our highlight goes to Jonathan who is responsible for breakfast, he exudes friendliness, organization and agility in helping with whatever is needed. I arrived outside of reception hours, but there was staff on site when I arrived. They were very helpful with getting me checked in and telling me what was available (Free tea/coffee during the evening night and also breakfast of tea/coffee bread, croissants, fruit, both were unexpected so a pleasant surprise). Also, two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge in the room. The room was clean and fresh, with plush towels. I needed somewhere to stay close to the airport for one night. The location is in a small town about 15 minutes from the airport. I knew this ahead of booking, but it was by far the best accommodation option in close proximity to the airport.

The location was fantastic – you have plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as within the resort itself. It’s a perfect place to enjoy dinner and then take a nice evening walk, since the resort also has a kind of shopping area where you can spend time and relax. The hotel is directly by the sea, and you can see the ocean right from the property, which makes the view and atmosphere truly special. The resort itself feels like a palm tree oasis, with beautiful landscaping that gives you the impression of being in a tropical paradise. The large infinity pool was another highlight I really enjoyed.

Year-Round Sun, Sea and Surf

The wonderful, year-round climate, great beaches and lively nightlife make Gran Canaria a popular choice for beach holidays in the Canaries. All of these elements are found in Playa del Inglès, the island’s liveliest resort. The water along the sandy beach offer great surfing conditions, as do those at neighbouring Maspalomas.

Large areas of Gran Canaria are of ecological importance and the incredible Maspalomas sand dunes are no exception. Other nature reserves are the forests of the mountainous centre of the island near San Bartolomé. Nearby Agüimes - a peaceful town known for its cave houses – is a short transfer from Gran Canaria Airport.

Visitors also arrive at the island by ferry to Las Palmas, the capital city which sweeps around a narrow piece of land ending in a mountain. Booking.com has a good range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Gran Canaria, but the greatest concentration are in Puerto Rico, a family-friendly resort with 2 beautiful, horseshoe-shaped bays and the Atlantida waterpark.

Also offering a selection of Gran Canaria hotels for families is Puerto de Mogan, known as ‘Little Venice’ because of its canals. Nestled in the volcanic landscape just along the coast is small Playa Taurito, one of many resorts with hotels with waterslides.

As a family hotel, we thought it could be a bit loud, but actually the hotel's layout is done in a sense that children will have their dedicated areas which ends up leaving some more quiet/chill areas if you are searching for a relaxing holiday. Will return.

Everything. Staff couldn't be friendlier. The hotel is just picturesque with the mountains in the background and the botanic garden theme. The reception and swimming pool areas look amazing. Breakfast is great and you are spoilt for choice. I'm sure lunch and dinner are also good but never got to try them. They also provide quality night shows after dinner. Location of the hotel is excellent to walk to the beach or marina.

One of the best hotels for the money I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were the nicest - friendliest people ever. Even the security were so lovely and nice. The food at breakfast was incredible - so much choice and high quality. Everything was tidy, clean, comfortable. I wanted to take the bed and pillows back home with me - more comfortable than 5 star luxury hotels.

Great place to stay with the family. Nothing posh, but facilities are great for the living. Kitchenette is there so if you have no meals rate then you can cook as we did. Clean area, stuff is polite and doing their job. Always possible to park a vehicle next to the property. Walking distance to the beach is around 2km, close to Dunas.

The area...on the beach...was perfect for our family reunion...

The area...on the beach...was perfect for our family reunion. We ran the gamit from grandparents 83 and 86 to grandchildren 1. 3. 5, 7, 13, 15, and 22. A total of 15. There was something for everyone to do; it didn' t hurt that there was a playground across the malecon.

The beach is very nice and very long as connects to maspalomas dunes. The only downside is steps, although the is lift further now the promenade( didn’t use it). Playa del ingles is family friendly without full nudity; for full nudity need to walk around 20 mins down the dunes.

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic area of Maspalomas and instead enjoy the view of maspalomas dune from the mountains. We enjoyed the drive to Pico de Nieves. The mountains are wonderful. Canyons and then pine trees. The view from Pico de Nieves and through the journey there is incredible. The dunes deserve a visit as well as puerto de mogan. But the mountains are a paradise.

Get used to steps if you have an apartment with a view. Popular with families, for more peace and quiet go to Puerto de Mogán. All maner of shops and services from the local near the beach to the big chains up the vally. Easy to do day trips from. Bus good and ferry excelent. Coast road to Puerto de Mogán shut indefinatly, just out of Puerto de Mogán. Good base for good weather.

A quiet lovely place with stunning flower lined narrow streets, and a relaxing place to stay, lovely beach and harbour front with loads of excellent restaurants, there are a few small bars as well. All in all a beautiful relaxing safe place for a holiday 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Great area lots of places to eat, Yumbo centre for people watching & a drink. Everywhere was very clean & everyone welcoming. We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day out

The view is amazing and literally enjoy the sound of tide in the balcony. If you want to have a break time to stay away from the hectic city. It would be a right place to relax. It's nice there is food theme for the meal every day. Food could be better if it is less greasy based on the diet perference.

This was a great location for our holiday in January.

This was a great location for our holiday in January. Agaete is not a tourist area but has access to walks from the apartment. Driving into the mountains to see tourist attractions and find other walking routes did take sometime due to the winding mountain roads. Great selection of restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance in the harbour area and a short drive to Sardina Nord for a lovely beach.

Breakfast was the best.

Breakfast was the best. There was nothing caused us any issues. We ate in the hotel and the food was good value for money. The shopping centre next door is well worth a visit, with loads of big name shops.
