Everything was perfect. The small boutique hotel is located in the heart of the old town of Las Palmas, which is the most beautiful part of the city, picturesque and quiet. Both the room and the common spaces of the hotel were spotlessly clean, decorated in elegance, modern yet respecting the architectural history of the dwelling. The staff was professional, friendly and willing to help anytime. Breakfast was excellent, full of fresh delicacies.

The location was fantastic – you have plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as within the resort itself. It’s a perfect place to enjoy dinner and then take a nice evening walk, since the resort also has a kind of shopping area where you can spend time and relax. The hotel is directly by the sea, and you can see the ocean right from the property, which makes the view and atmosphere truly special. The resort itself feels like a palm tree oasis, with beautiful landscaping that gives you the impression of being in a tropical paradise. The large infinity pool was another highlight I really enjoyed.

Year-Round Sun, Sea and Surf

The wonderful, year-round climate, great beaches and lively nightlife make Gran Canaria a popular choice for beach holidays in the Canaries. All of these elements are found in Playa del Inglès, the island’s liveliest resort. The water along the sandy beach offer great surfing conditions, as do those at neighbouring Maspalomas.

Large areas of Gran Canaria are of ecological importance and the incredible Maspalomas sand dunes are no exception. Other nature reserves are the forests of the mountainous centre of the island near San Bartolomé. Nearby Agüimes - a peaceful town known for its cave houses – is a short transfer from Gran Canaria Airport.

Visitors also arrive at the island by ferry to Las Palmas, the capital city which sweeps around a narrow piece of land ending in a mountain. Booking.com has a good range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Gran Canaria, but the greatest concentration are in Puerto Rico, a family-friendly resort with 2 beautiful, horseshoe-shaped bays and the Atlantida waterpark.

Also offering a selection of Gran Canaria hotels for families is Puerto de Mogan, known as ‘Little Venice’ because of its canals. Nestled in the volcanic landscape just along the coast is small Playa Taurito, one of many resorts with hotels with waterslides.

We stayed for two weaks. Hotel is located in very good spot. Shops and restaurants in a walking distance. You have easy access to San Agustin beach and one more beach that is smaller with very few people enjoying wild nature. Breakfest was very good. Good choice of food and delicious. Same for lunch and dinner. Hotel takes large area with beautiful pool areas with very good looking tropical plants and trees. Must pay a lot of credit to the staff, because I think they are doing their job with a lot of hard work and devotion. Rooms were kept every day by cleaning and changing bed lining. Restaurant staff still smiling after long days of hard work. Animation team was incredible by making live performances every evening at the levels of professional performers and keeping children interested in different activities during the day. Our son loved the animation team. Talented young people they are. Speciall thanks to Guillermo at the counter desk. He was very kind and professional solving any question with great regard speaking very good english. I saw someone shouting out for zero reasons, but Guillermo managed that calmly as usually. Hotel has a storage room for luggage in case you have a late flight home, so you can enjoy the island after checking out. We even got a room after for showering end prepare us for going home. I don't know what else could I ask for.

The Hotel was really nice. It looks like the pictures shown. The bungalows are clean & have everything you need to feel comfortable. The terrace of the bungalow had everything you need for some nice and chill hours in the evening or in the sun. Pool, Bar, Sunroof and Gym was fantastic. The whole area looked very professional & welcoming. Food was always good regardless of which meal we had. There was so much variation for everyone. Drinks at the bar were always excellent & the evening shows were super fun too. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Always there to provide everything for their guests! Never seen a single Cockroach in the bungalows , only one time on the terrace when it flew towards us from the outside. Thanks to the Hotel Cat aka ( not the real name ) Bert. (He loves pets & food). We will come back without any doubts. Thanks for a great Vacation.

The hotel was perfect, me and my wife spend a week in this very nice adults only hotel located right at the start of the most popular dunes de maspalomas which are amazing. Since we were so close we spend couple of evnings in the dunes looking at the stars and woke up early to see the sunrise. The Food was very good a lot of options, the al carte restaurant we visited "spanish" restaurant was top class with very good sugestions of wine we had a lovely meal. Pool was heated which didnt really needed to be due to the weather. The walk from the hotel to the beach was around 15-20minutes which wasnt too bad. The music every evening was also very good, parking was no problem on the street.

Hotel with it's own identity, feels like walking in a Spanish plaza from old movies. Friendly staff. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great food. Exactly like in the pictures. As a family hotel, we thought it could be a bit loud, but actually the hotel's layout is done in a sense that children will have their dedicated areas which ends up leaving some more quiet/chill areas if you are searching for a relaxing holiday. The area...on the beach...was perfect for our family reunion. We ran the gamit from grandparents 83 and 86 to grandchildren 1. 3. 5, 7, 13, 15, and 22. A total of 15. There was something for everyone to do; it didn' t hurt that there was a playground across the malecon.

The beach is very nice and very long as connects to maspalomas dunes. The only downside is steps, although the is lift further now the promenade( didn’t use it). Playa del ingles is family friendly without full nudity; for full nudity need to walk around 20 mins down the dunes.

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic area of Maspalomas and instead enjoy the view of maspalomas dune from the mountains. We enjoyed the drive to Pico de Nieves. The mountains are wonderful. Canyons and then pine trees. The view from Pico de Nieves and through the journey there is incredible. The dunes deserve a visit as well as puerto de mogan. But the mountains are a paradise.

Get used to steps if you have an apartment with a view. Popular with families, for more peace and quiet go to Puerto de Mogán. All maner of shops and services from the local near the beach to the big chains up the vally. Easy to do day trips from. Bus good and ferry excelent. Coast road to Puerto de Mogán shut indefinatly, just out of Puerto de Mogán. Good base for good weather.

A quiet lovely place with stunning flower lined narrow streets, and a relaxing place to stay, lovely beach and harbour front with loads of excellent restaurants, there are a few small bars as well. All in all a beautiful relaxing safe place for a holiday 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Great area lots of places to eat, Yumbo centre for people watching & a drink. Everywhere was very clean & everyone welcoming. We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day out

The view is amazing and literally enjoy the sound of tide in the balcony. If you want to have a break time to stay away from the hectic city. It would be a right place to relax. It's nice there is food theme for the meal every day. Food could be better if it is less greasy based on the diet perference.

This was a great location for our holiday in January.

This was a great location for our holiday in January. Agaete is not a tourist area but has access to walks from the apartment. Driving into the mountains to see tourist attractions and find other walking routes did take sometime due to the winding mountain roads. Great selection of restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance in the harbour area and a short drive to Sardina Nord for a lovely beach.

Breakfast was the best.

Breakfast was the best. There was nothing caused us any issues. We ate in the hotel and the food was good value for money. The shopping centre next door is well worth a visit, with loads of big name shops.
