the location and nature around create a unique atmosphere. This hotel became the final point of our walking journey and I felt even better than the 5-star hotel where we had rested the previous night. When you are surrounded by the elements of the ocean, it is incomparable to anything; it was here that my soul rested and I was filled with energy.

A beautiful hotel next to the Christmas Market. It is exceptionally nicely designed and my room was beautiful and comfortable (as was the bed). Breakfast was very nice. The restaurant looked entincing. Last but not least, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My room request was honoured, which is always a very pleasant experience. (I am aware that sometimes this is not possible - so it is a nice plus, when it happens).

A truly wonderful place to visit, lot's of things to do from sitting at a cafe or bar watching the world go by, or just walking around the many old streets and coming across some fantastic buildings, churches or statues, you are spoilt for choice for eating due to the many restaurants serving up some superb dishes. There are a few beaches you can visit with beautiful golden sand, would definitely recommend Praia Azul, an outstanding beach with a beautiful promenade that has a few cafés & bars along the front.

The area had good access to Cangas and Vigo which included a great boat trip and opportunity to see the Christmas lights and decorations in the city. Our local area of Porto de Aldan had beautiful beaches linked by walkways where possible. Other beaches were accessible by road although had limited parking. Staff at Cafes and tapas restaurants were friendly and food was excellent. Pinalta and Bar Peralta were particularly good as was the panaderia Iglesias for breakfast and coffees with generous cakes and superb fresh bread. Parking at the port is easy and walkable and wildlife congregates there.

It is a great destination to just be out of the noise of the big cities, it is a small town actually with friendly local people and you can enjoy local food and mostly if you love sea food it would be a good choice.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in. The beds were comfortable, it was a safe area. The kitchen was decent, the air conditioning worked well (important during this stay as it was hot in CdR). It seemed to be quiet so getting a good nights rest was easy. There are dining amenities very close and there is also a produce market if you are inclined to make your own food! The wifi was a little dodgy at times. We used the washing machine and the clothes drying rack which made our stay there very productive.

A great place to stroll around the harbour taking in the views, sculptures & architecture or drop into the busy back streets, lot's of restaurants, cafés & bars, good beaches along the front, quite a few places of historical interest to visit, we loved the little streets off the harbour, every corner you turned there was a gem of a building be it for commerce, church or residence

Nice busy place with a variety of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, the jewel has to be the beach, a fantastic place to sit on the sand and enjoy the glorious views, swim or watch a stunning sunset, there are also few bar's dotted along the boardwalk in case you feel thirsty.

Nice town and pretty good hotel.

Nice town and pretty good hotel. Only one complain - I stayed in room 311. Some freaky internal designer placed a shelf above the sitting place of the desk. On getting up from the chair I smashed my head in that shelf. It still hurts! fortunately I have a strong head. Please remove that shelf. Next guest may have a weaker head....

The city comes alive with “fiestas” and offers a variety of entertainment options from great restaurants to water activities. The open market had a variety of things for sale from external to local vendors. From here, one can visit other areas in Galicia easily.
