The pool is heated and I like that there are a lot of plants and palms next to it. The cocktails from the bars next to the pool are amazing! But what truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was attentive, courteous, and genuinely interested in making sure we had everything we needed. Special thanks to the concierge team for their excellent recommendations.
The breakfast buffet is simply outstanding—a wide variety of high-quality dishes, from fresh fruit to local specialties, all served in a beautiful setting. The on-site restaurants also offered exquisite cuisine, with options that delighted our taste buds each night.
The pool area is another highlight, with multiple pools surrounded by comfortable loungers and lush gardens. It never felt crowded, and the service by the pool was impeccable. We loved spending afternoons relaxing there, soaking in the sun, and enjoying refreshing drinks.
Overall, our stay at Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur was nothing short of perfect. The combination of luxury, comfort, and genuinely caring staff made this one of the best hotels I've ever visited. It was amazing that the hotel had its own aquapark for kids, even though the kids were not with us. On top of that, it was very convenient that there were two separate pool zones: one for families, the other adults only. Since it was a romantic vacation, we appreciated it greatly.
Very friendly staff made it even better, especially the people working at the reception.
We would also like to underline the sheer level of quality of dishes at all of the restaurants. They were really top rank.
In addition, it was greatly convenient that we had a big balcony and there were two bathrooms, even though we had a standard apartment.

Unparalleled, wonderful, magical.
Now, a bit more in detail:
We chose this hotel by chance just two days before our flight, drawn by its location and all-inclusive option. At check-in, the receptionist greeted us warmly and explained everything in detail. When we entered our room, we were absolutely thrilled: a spacious apartment with a kitchen, a large bedroom and living room, a terrace with an ocean view, and an enormous rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of both the ocean and Mount Teide!
The hotel has a truly authentic feel, everything is designed with great taste, and we are so happy that you have such a talented gardener on staff!
Even though we’re not the type to stay in the hotel all day, it was a pleasure to take evening walks around the beautiful grounds and capture amazing photos!
P.S. There are at least three adorable cats living on the premises – a lovely bonus!
The only downside was the woman at the restaurant entrance who, somewhat unwelcomingly, kept asking for our room number. It didn’t make much sense, given that all guests were clearly wearing their wristbands, and it left a bit of an unpleasant impression.
In the end: the views are absolutely magical, the food is always available and delicious, the apartments are fantastic (for reasonable guests), and the location is perfect – with restaurants, shops, and the best beaches nearby.

Me, my husband, and our kids really loved our stay in this hotel because of the great pool area with heated swimming pools, clean and spacious rooms with beautiful view terraces. And the restaurant was exceptional 😋, we took the ultra all inclusive deal for the whole family and we were enjoying great food and drinks all day long and also around the pool. The animators were very friendly and entertaining, the staff at the restaurant was super efficient and still friendly, even the cleaning ladies were with a smile on their faces every day. We felt really welcomed and simply loved the whole vacation ❤️!

Entertainment team were fantastic and an amazing filled programme for the kids. Kept them busy and entertained and out of the sunshine if it got too warm. My kids especially loved the cookie making and T-shirt painting. Also loved the water aerobics every day in the pool with the instructors. Loved the fact the cleaners came each day to the room the place was spotless and very well maintained. Had an amazing stay here.

Great place with warm hotel stuff who were super reactive for the request.
Super food which was all inclusive I mean breakfast lunch and supper with buffets of good quality and the dishes changed every single day! We really loved it.

I love Adeje, there is something for everyone whether you want a busy area or somewhere quiet. Whether you want to walk streets of tourist shops, or shop in a more affluent areas.
There is plenty to do and see.
The coastline is great.
Lots of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from.

loss of cash ,'cards and phones whilst on holiday can be very upsetting and stressful.

We stayed there for a month in April 24 and love it, staying at Paloma Beach in a 1 bed apartment.

Little town inhabited mostly by locals with less tourists. Some nice restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great wooden walkway along the coast, with beautiful views and some nice natural pools for swimming.

Love the area.
Love the area. Not too touristy with locals using the beach- bars - restaurants etc. nice vibe at night time. Safe and friendly. Excellent walks from centre. Bus service close. Nature reserve areas and easy hill walking. Long beach walks. We loved the walk to Los Abrigos, (easy ish 4.5 miles) having a meal and wine and then a taxi back (14 euros) 5 mins drive to TF1 motorway and routes to anywhere on the island. Good local supermarkets and local market on Saturday and Wednesday. Brilliant fish mongers at Los Abrigos 5 minutes by car. Manfreds soul bar our favourite place but lots of choices for food and drinks with coastal views.

We love living and hiking in the quiet hinterland few miles...
We love living and hiking in the quiet hinterland few miles North, up the hills and away from the water front in LC and LA,
yet we also love swiming the ocean at the truly great playas (Camison, Duque, Las Vistas etc.) and walking the Golden Mile when it's not over-crowded.
Golf fans have a decent green ready to play, one of the greenest area of Arona/Adeje.
Hike to Vilaflor and Canadas, take a ferry to Gomera, go to a folk fest in the village... 10s of options open
Excellent frutas y verduras, fresh fish (e.g. tra the local tuna bonito doradas etc.), quesos fresco (e.g., try those young unsalted semi-curados, requeson, greek yougurts etc.)

It's relatively close to the airport but a taxi will still cost €25. Traffic is incredible (constant jam), and the bus system, with the number of stops they make, ensures that any travel takes a long time - when the bus actually arrives. There are very few facilities (shops, bars, restaurants) nearby. Los Christianos is much more central for activities. I wouldn't stay in CdS again

There is an abundance of excellent restaurants and bars. Try them all, it is worth the effort. The village is probably more suited to mature visitors - not a great deal to offer for children. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and extremely friendly to share with your partner it is the place to be.

Candelaria is a gem of a destination on Tenerife that we absolutely adore. This charming town offers several small, lovely beaches and a long, beautiful promenade perfect for leisurely walks. It exudes a peaceful and cozy atmosphere, with friendly locals and tourists alike. The town has everything you need, including shops, shopping centers, and a variety of restaurants. Finding parking is easy, at least in February, which adds to the convenience. It's also easily accessible by rental car, just a 20-minute drive from the northern airport. Candelaria is an excellent base for exploring the island, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and amenities.

Costa Adeje is a nice long strip of beach filled with bars, restaurants, cafes etc… the sand on the beach varied from black sand and others had golden sand. I think Adeje is the nicest area. We walked up to Playa de Duque which was a very nice posh area, it had a nice feel but the restaurants were also more expensive. Playa de Fañabe beach had everything you needed.
