Very kind and helpful staff at the reception - she arranged dinner for us despite of the somewhat late arrival. The dinner was also very tasteful and served in a fascinating dining room.

My room was located in the annex building called “the Bank”. The room was a bit small but very comfortable and well decorated. ( but I do recommend to book the deluxe rooms facing the river for a better experience ) The room temperature was perfect and it was very cold outside (average of -20 c) . I had dinner in the restaurant . The food was good but a bit overpriced. Breakfast was included and was very good. Choice of savoury and sweet. The hotel staff are amazing and always pleased to help. I did 3 excursions organized by the hotel. Altai ski, ice fishing and the aurora tour.. all of them were an amazing experience. The tour guides Tommy and Matilda are fantastic.. they will do everything to make the tour the most enjoyable possible! Matilda took us to an amazing spot to watch the aurora!!! This was fantastic. I really recommend to book the tours with the hotel.

The rooms are somewhat old but well-maintained and clean. The breakfast was a hearty spread with some vegetarian options. The staff was the best thing about the place and were very helpful. They had sledges for pulling kids along and good advice for where to go for a hike. The sauna was free to use between evening hours and was well maintained. There is a small market within the place and if you don't want to, you don't need to go out in the cold to buy microwavable food, milk, beer, or souvenirs. Perfect place for a snowy vacation.

The apartment is as in photos. Its clean and comfortable. We had heating problem on the first day but Joni fixed it. Loved the stay. The owner is helpful and guided us the places to witness aurora.
