We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Kemijärvi! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. Every corner, from the rooms to the common areas, was spotless and welcoming, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. A special thanks goes to Vlrgemir, who truly made our experience exceptional. His politeness and helpful nature stood out immediately. He went above and beyond, answering all our questions with patience and ensuring we felt at home. He even helped us navigate the area and made excellent recommendations, all while being so genuinely kind and pleasant. The restaurant on the first floor is delicious. I highly recommend dining there. The hotel rooms are average, but it was super quiet and warm to sleep in.

Had a problem with the original cabin, got another cabin right away. Super friendly and speedy service! Location is very close to town's main streets, yet surprisingly quiet. Could hear and see swans and other birds on the lake throughout the evening. The beach was only a few steps away from the cabin and was excellent for swimming. The kitchenette had all the appliances and utensils needed. I even did some yoga on the floor, that's how clean it was, as was the rest of the cabin.

We loved the location right by the lake, especially with the outdoor fire where you can cook your meals and enjoy breakfast in the morning. Everything was spotless. The host was also very kind, when we asked, he gladly washed the clothes we had from our trekking trip.

Very well constructed and located cottage. It was very close to the ski slopes and amenities were reachable. You definitely need a car to be reaching and commuting around. We were a couple and there was plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the aspects of the cottage including the architecture, ambience, facilities and cosy feel. It was a perfect get away for us. Happy to recommend it to anyone. The personal sauna and fireplace made it even better.
