What a great place. Beautiful town, scenery and building. It has everything you want in a hotel. Clean hotel, clean room, clean bathroom. Big bath towels! Having a proper size bath towel is great, I like to cover my entire bum when I get out of a shower, so we were very happy and they have lovely, fluffy bath robes. Even the shower gel and shampoo were good. The bedrooms were well decorated and the beds very comfortable. Good space to put your suitcase and ace if you want a desk to work on. We opted for breakfast in our room, which was a lovely treat. Good selection of breakfast food. We ate at the restaurant and were very happy with the meal. Great food and lovely decor. All of the staff were really great, very helpful and friendly and all of them, from reception to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff were extremely hard working. I've worked in busy pubs and restaurants and the staff here kept their cool and their smiles. Really enjoyed the stay 😊

This is a hidden gem - in the countryside, close to the motorway. Very safe with private parking in a remote place. We love it. Dog friendly, cosy but simpel rooms. BUT…the restaurant is excellent! You feel really at home here!

We had three really enjoyable nights at the Auberge along with dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent and served with enthusiasm and cheerfulness. Arriving on the Thursday for "pizza night" in the outside bar was our good fortune! Tasty pizza, wine and a fun ambiance. The staff were outstanding. I would thorougly recommend the Auberge.

Apart from the wonderfully huge sign saying my name for all to see, it was magnificent to have a hotel just for me ...... In all seriousness, I hadn't stayed here before, or in fact in the area at all. So, it was a very pleasant surprise to find this little gem of a hotel. Easy access to the hotel, right off a main road, but not at all busy and noisy. The staff were so helpful and full of smiles and helped out when my French was somewhat lacking in areas. The rooms were very comfortable and well 'stocked' - as in good sized towels (but always could be a little bigger). I liked that there was a vending machine in the hotel, good range of drinks and snacks. Check in and out times were good, and check in and out process was quick and efficient. We did not use the hotel restaurant as we were busy for one of the nights, and the second night was a Sunday, so they weren't open - but the menu looked great and the actual restaurant was great inside (you walked through it to the breakfast room). The breakfast buffet was good, a decent range of food and drink, good size cups and glasses (not the tiny ones where it is like chugging down a shot of orange juice). We didn't use the swimming pool, but it was outside of the window of the breakfast room. It looked a good size and was clean with clear water.

Serge & Sara were so welcoming. Chateau Lezat had been recommended by my family, and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay. Serge is passionate about cooking, and it shows! Wonderful food. Sara and Serge could not have made our stay anymore enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying here.

One night stay for a motorcycling trip. Perfect location as we were provided an excellent dinner as well. We ate dinner on the same table as the other guests, whcih was very sociable. Very quiet, safe for our motorcycles. Breakfast was excellent as well, plus we were offered a choice of eggs.

Great stopover location. Great staff and good price.

Great stopover location. Great staff and good price. This is a standard budget hotel and will not disappoint. If travelling on a Sunday or Monday you’ll find the big bonus is that good is available in the evenings. A bit of a rarity in France.

Boussac although on a main road has many back streets full of charming old buildings. A large Chateau overlooks the countryside, and a must see. Eating out, there are a number of choices from the Central Hotels fine restaurant to a number of take aways. There is also an excellent Bar\restaurant on the main square which is always busy with locals.

Hotel was fine for a budget price.

Hotel was fine for a budget price. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the restaurant was very good. Gueret is a very quiet town, not much going on. We couldn't find a grocery store open past 7.
